Cyan, funnily enough I agree with most of what you say, where we maybe differ is I dont see Border just folding without at least selling the asset and even if that was to be for a ridiculous knock down of 50m that is still about 3 times current market cap, so whilst this is a risky play there is, in my opinion, a backstop. As for a farm in, well there must be more chance of that now than at any time since 2015, there was previous interest but the board were maybe a little unrealistic in their valuation and were certainly caught out, as most people were, with the extent of the slump in the oil market. Interestly I am sure I also read some months back that the uk govt had had discussions with Argentina about cooperation in developing their offshore oil reserves, whether this goes anywhere or leads to more productive relationscwho knows.
