You clearly missed the late buy on the 15th June if you think the £10 k buy is risky !
Time will tell of course
I have never owned a share that's paid out a dividend so I am happy to hold my hands up here and thank other posters who have provided reassurance.
However , not for the first time AMCs own RNS release have confused matters
With regards Cineworld it's possible that there has been some confusion with Companies:
https://www.reuters.com/markets/deals/theater-chain-amc-says-no-longer-talks-acquire-cineworld-2022-12-21/
JEZZAC I've seen that link - the download just opens up a copy of the RNS with no resolutions ( at least on my tablet / browser) .
Are you able to post the resolutions ? Thanks
And RY expects backing in a new venture ?
Monthly interest on $ 35 m - why rush to payout us sh ?
Very interesting- nearly all of which I was unaware off .
How do RY and the other Directors benefit- esp in the situation they are expected to “ walk away “ once a RTO is complete and they have nothing to offer the Company ?
I might be wrong here but I think what Zee ( Zizou ) is asking is , is there a date after which if you buy AMC shares the shares would not be eligible for the proposed 1.8 p dividend. For example if the proposal is approved by SHs on the 24 th August , would shares bought after this date still be eligible for the dividend?
Zee / Zizou if this wasn't what you were asking my apologies - but it is a point that I am wondering about as well.
Zizou I think I remember some of your posts here ? Sorry about the loss you have taken .
Astar
That will be an interesting discussion, but I feel we need to get the vote out of the way first .
If the sell proposal goes through let's see what RY and the others have lined up . Me personally I've had enough of the current management team ( Tom Bowens excluded ) - apparent disregard for us SHs , poor communication and missed deadlines . I thought RY looked worn out on yesterday's video and it will be legitimate to ask if he is the right man to take AMC forward . It will also be telling to see if TB remains with AMC . If he remains he would be the man for me to take us forward .
Some PR Company has been engaged to re - work :
Amur Minerals ‘in the right place, at the right time with the right commodity’
husato
Today at 1123 you posted :
spineless yes voters... terrible insight in to the deal making process in Russia....there will be another buyer...guaranteed RY just wants an easy ride in his last few years at work..
You also called another poster an absolute mug .
On the 7th August you post and ask a number of very relevant questions :
ask yourself this question....
will the SMO be concluded before winter sets in?, will Ukraine and Russia agree a cease fire? will Ukraine cede territory to Russia? will Russia back down?
could the war be in stalemate through winter?
could Ukraine and Russia rearm through winter?
could Russia declare war in Ukraine and call up reserves and go full invasion with Belarus helping?
is it likely the economic change in Russia west relations reverse in the next 2 years?
can Amur minerals find another buyer in the next 12 months?
could amur minerals declare force majeure and or run out of operating funds?
all very influential answers one should consider when making this very unwelcome choice.
As gutted as i am, bordering on heart broken, i am going to accept and make afresh start with the dividend and hope amur reinvest well and get a few pence for my holding down the road.
On the 9th August you post :
Voted NO today 3 million shares.
Fair enough you have changed your mind / position we are all entitled to do that . However , does your 360 turnaround mean you should be as unpleasant to other posters who have asked themselves the same questions you asked and have taken your original position ?
husato where are the counter bids from Nornickel and RCC now ? ( Vladimir Potanin of Nornickel is a recently sanctioned individual but as far as I am aware the Company are not sanctioned)
Why are they prepared to lose a multi - billion asset to VS ?
AMCs exploration / mining licence was issued with a set of obligations . Yes , we probably can submit a Mining Plan for consideration and approval by the RF . But then what ? AMC cannot advance further than completing this cash wasteful paper exercise . We would legally lose the KM project Licence .
The economic landscape in Russia has changed- consider the Multi Nationals that have lost hundreds of millions in leaving Russia . We have unfortunately reached the end of the road ( that term will not be lost on LTH s )
I'm a LTH here and infrequent poster and it will be a very reluctant " yes " vote from me . Some SHs have advanced the argument that AMC have enough cash in the Bank to " ride out " let's call it what it is war . Who knows when this terrible war will end I certainly don't . What I do know is that AMC are expected to complete a Mine Plan and submit same to the RF for approval sometime 2023 . Even if it is submitted on time and approved by the RF we have no way to advance . From the RNS :
" The Company has been advancing the Project in accordance with the terms of its Detailed Exploration and Mining Licence and notes the anticipated life of mine capital cost estimate of US$ 1.92 billion, including US$1.14 billion for preproduction and construction costs of a 12.4 million open pit ore tonne per annum operation, as detailed in the TEO Project Russian feasibility study. The Company does not foresee this financing being readily available in order to advance the Project to production.
· The Company has received no other proposals for the acquisition of Kun-Manie and is not in discussions with any other parties regarding a disposal of the asset "
It's unlikely that the RF will allow AMC to sit it out and do nothing in my opinion :
Was it last year or the year before that the RF highlighted that it was not acceptable for Companies not to be progressing their Licence obligations? AMC would be in a position where they would have to tell the RF they can't advance KM and lose the licence or potentially accept an even lower offer from VS . Once KM is back with the RF it will be rigged auction time with KM going to the chosen one - probably VS . It will be the Roman Abramovich scenario all over again .
Ultimately we all must do what is best for ourselves and families and this unfortunately appears for me to be the best of a very bad situation we find ourselves in
" why didn't you sell when sp went up to 44 p "
Unfortunately, that question / decision torments many of us here
Thanks for your reply
My holding is with BI - tried to register my vote by phone and spoke with a call taker who did not fill me with confidence and said they would ask their Corporate Action Team to make contact. Anyone on here hold with BI with a different outcome?
Sorry folks the link I posted does not seem to work ( though it did bring up the article from behind the paywall on my tablet to let me read it )

Using archive.today ( with thanks to CBS )
The post was by Bwana6 who if memory serves has been positive on AMC previously - states he obtained the info second hand so make off it what you will .
Maybe raises an issue though - considering the daily erosion of the Sp at what point would the Board consider delisting in order to protect the Sp and Shareholders? Thoughts anyone ?
