Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
A large amount of .5 sulphides like we have found at muswema and fwiji will be perfect! People dreaming of 1-7% are unrealistic in the geology of the area! We literally want sentinel which is .5 but a billion £ operation
Check the end from October rns where nvs reports the sulphides being ‘homogeneous’ with sentinel because he knows where the jackpot is. Hopefully we have some of David woods lost 25mt in the region :)
From what I’ve researched, oxides closer to surface hence oxidised, higher grades, easier to process but smaller quantities! Arc want massive sulphide deposits as sulphides are generally bigger deposits but lower grade and deeper, think oxides top of iceberg and sulphide the massive body. Hence why we are drilling deeper! We want sentinel grades (40km away, avg 0.55% but almost 5mt of mostly sulphides) and quantity as modern mining makes lower grades economic where in past would not been mined! No more 5-8% grades, other than drc. Hope this is right, feel free to correct if you know more
Can anyone explain to me why they have delayed the interim report? Thanks
So if they hit large sulphides at fwiji, can we Interpret others areas to have large amount of sulphides if they have similar geochem/scandium ratio or does it have to be drilled to confirm? Many thanks
True, but their mines still have a massive amount of copper. Would be a good sign if they do invest.

Economic investment sentiment seems to be turning though
Anyone have an idea how far they would have got drilling by now,, thanks
Trying to understand why first quantums decision to stop selling part of sentinel/kansanshi! Anyone have a view?
It was like the at the end of the least ea, people moaning about management, then confirmation Anglo interested after dd completed. Then nvs was god
No one knows what’s going on behind the scenes, agree placement was ****e and I lossed trust in management. However assets look good, and has potential to be a monster copper mine in which shareholders would see there long awaited profit
Personally thinks it’s a ploy, will make Anglo offer a better deal as could go alone if needed. A good hedge against a no deal
It’s the deposit size of sentinel that makes it economical, in past would not have been mined. With modern technology is now commercially viable
I would be happy with sulphides @ 0.5% but a lot of it. That’s what we are looking for a sentinel size/grade deposit.Sulphides are generally lower % but come come in larger deposits
The fact they have hit sulphides at muswema is the most exciting. If they continue similar mineralisation across the 12k lumbeta muswema structure that would be a tier 1 asset in itself. Just look at kiwara plc drill results, shed load of low grade sulphides!
Anyone have any idea the assumed postash price per ton they use for the figures provided, thanks
Anyone have any idea on casa update? Thanks
Any one who knows more than me know assays timeframe?
Yeah I’m not China, just asked a question
Any timeframe for assays results from labs been given?
I think a major leaving the country should at least make people think why? Having done a bit more research looks like
Glencore have had a troubled decade in Zambia! It’s a risk reward play here and still still personally think arc are worth the risk. Also i think chinared is an idiot, no constructive arguement but the same could be said for some of the pro arc here
