Barclays is usually seen as cautious in their outlook and price targets so this is a good outlook and price target for Boohoo from Barclays on Monday 23 March 2020. Overweight means buy.

Online businesses are looking particularly attractive at the moment, as a lot of people look set to be self-isolating at home, with nothing to do. Therefore online shopping, gambling, etc, are likely to be winners from the current upheaval.

Companies with strong balance sheets (net cash) should survive, and of course will probably have less competition, once people recover from the virus (which is mild for most people) and start travelling, eating/drinking out, and shopping again.

People will be buying more online instead of going to shops. Bored people self-isolating at home, are likely to be doing a lot more internet shopping than before.

Boohoo has loads of cash and maybe even bored teenagers will do a lot more internet shopping too.

TechieMan - yes I believe CAP-XX can be trusted and you too could have learnt this if you'd done your own research.

We all know, including Paul Scott, why the share price is dropping. His opinion was why had it dropped so much when it is a best in class eCommerce company.

Sounds a sensible opinion to me considering Boohoo is the best in class eCommerce fashion business.

Boohoo - best in class eCommerce fashion business. Not clear to me why the shares have fallen so much. Has gone from very expensive, to just expensive. But long-term, this could be a good entry point c.220p
