Boohoo, which already operates three warehouses, has been on an acquisition spree after acquiring the rights to high street names including Coast, Karen Millen, Oasis and Warehouse.

In January it bought the Debenhams brand and website for £55million and two weeks later bought former Arcadia Group brands Dorothy Perkins, Wallis and Burton. It declined to comment when contacted.

Arcadia administrators at Deloitte also declined to comment. Asos plans to operate its new brands from its existing warehouses and has already said it is not interested in the Daventry site.

Meanwhile, online rival Boohoo has emerged as a surprise contender for Arcadia’s Daventry distribution centre which employs 700 staff.

The company is understood to be keen to do a deal within the next week to ensure that jobs at the warehouse are secured.

Retail sources told The Mail on Sunday that Boohoo could create another 1,000 jobs as part of the agreement to acquire the Northamptonshire site.

On investing com website the pivot point yesterday under technical analysis, daily, classic was 362.83 with the first resistance point at 373.56.

Younglad's comment again for those who missed it. For info, Boohoo share price got to 373.3p on Monday 15 February 2021.

"Right now the SP is still trying to break through resistance around 374. Once that is cleared then the next level is around 392-396 (+9%) level. Then lastly it'll be the all-time high at about 434 (+19%). How long it'll take is anyone's guess. The SP has broken out of the massive triangle pattern recently and seems to be retesting the top level right now.

We do have support at around 350-355 (-3%) and then 325-330 (-9%). If the price corrects to the downside."
