RE: Sulphide plant at PP12 Jun 2018 13:31
Hi Jeffa, thanks for looking back and yes AP did say very clearly 60kg (which would be 1929 troy ounces).
I know the doubling/trebling was off the cuff but personally doubt Giant or Eureka would be making much contribution to that within 12 months, suggesting a big part of that increase must come from PP. That's why I was asking 're the sulphide.
ORT/Castaway/LEE can you shed any more light on the suphides on top of what's on the website.?
Will the oxide plant still run at the same time as the sulphide, whilst they have a mix of ore types?
If not, could the oxide plant process any of Eureka's stockpile while that plant is decommissioned?
'Work is underway to commission a sulphide processing plant to treat the open cast sulphides, with first sulphide production scheduled in 2018 to build up mining and processing rates to 33,000 tonnes per month at an average grade of between 3-4g/t gold once the oxide resource is fully depleted. Gold production is expected to increase to approximately 50,000oz per annum.'
