So, yes Mercuria primarily want product, but keeping the OTA open doesn't cost themselves or VAST anything - however, from VASTs POV they know they can sell what they produce to a company that will always take it

Dodge the statement ' I am sure many like myself have shares locked away as they cannot be sold for the losses incurred so far and the losses totally out weigh selling and moving on' totally negates any credibility you hope to achieve.
If you expect the SP to decline, than any loss would increase, it makes no sense to hold onto a loss-making position expecting it to get worse.
If you expect the SP to increase, to justify holding your shares ("I'm out, was in"!) then do you think posting your catalogue of woes multiple times a day will help that happen?

You're correct, we need to scrutinise the quantity of warrants that will be proposed at the GM, but the point of using them as security, is to avoid exactly the situation we have had until very recently with SSGI of having a third party able to influence what, if any further funding deals can be struck due to them holding a charge over the asset
