Orph may be a well placed company but Investors are heading to the exit at the moment. Lots of burned fingers I guess.
The theory is nice. But the only thing that's gonna move the share price is solid interims and a steady flow of news.
Nice to see. A well run company. In a growing market sector. With a war chest of cash. Paying a divi. Expanding to new (space) markets. What's not to like?
Yep really. Stockpedia for instance says "highly speculative". And no not a de ramper I've got a holding that's 15 percent down. So positive for the future but also realistic about the degree of risk and reward.
It's really interesting to me why there is so much 'noise' on Orph BB. It's a small low cap high risk company. Could be a ten bagger in a few years. Could be insolvent. If you like a bit of risk it's something to own as a small percent of a portfolio. Seems to me both the rampers and de rampers have got exposed positions on this that they are very nervous about!? Don't gamble more than you can afford to lose and don't post every 30 second about every twitch in the SP.
Remember you are the thrill seeker that strapped into this high risk rollercoaster. Nobody forced you. Buckle up and enjoy the ride.
Will be looking to do the same. I hope it might drift a bit lower with the general market.
On the basis that I think the Jan till July timeframe was a pump and dump type distortion and the SP got way, way, ahead of itself then it seems to me that we are pretty much at the bottom right now. I'm putting my money where my mouth is and buying. This may look foolish in the weeks to come or may be perfect timing. Time will tell.
As an alternative view on the current share price. The current SP is in the same ball park as it was in January this year.
Maybe the correct reading is that the company now is about the same as it was in terms of prospects etc in January. That's what the SP tells me.
If that's the case the SP run up to 47p could have been classic pump and dump? So maybe the manipulation was *then* and the highs were distorted. Rather than the lows now being the distortion. Just an alternative viewpoint without a hidden agenda.
The RNS is only small in dollar term but potentially a whole new sector opening up. Nice start to the week for sure.
CF quote about the new contract seems to suggest the study clinics are fully booked 2021.
“Fortunately, with our access to three challenge study clinics in London, we were able to find a small gap in our schedule later this year to slot this particular study in at short notice.”
As a change from the bad tempered mud slinging.
A quick look at the career section of Venn and Hvivo show both recruiting for a bunch of new roles. So if actions speak louder than words a bigger team seems to indicate more work to me . Despite the share price gymnastics. DYOR.
..with a lot of folks on this board? Rudeness, mudslinging no tolerance of newbies or alternative viewpoints. No need for it.
What's the chance that the RNS is bad news and that CF issues that type of RNS rather than good news. The price drops and then he buys?
He seems to have got all the bad financial news into the results. So maybe more bad news to get it out of the way. Then the turn around start from here?
