VISITECT® CD4 Advanced Disease
Supply Agreement with Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc.
Omega (AIM: ODX), the medical diagnostics company focused on CD4, infectious diseases, food intolerance and allergy testing, announces that it has signed a supply agreement ("Agreement") with Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. ("CHAI")1.
The objective of the Agreement is to accelerate access to Omega's VISITECT® CD4 Advanced Disease rapid test2 in low-income countries, lower-middle income countries and upper-middle income countries (together "Eligible Countries") as classified by the World Bank. The VISITECT® CD4 Advanced Disease Test is the only currently available handheld lateral flow point of care test for identifying patients with advanced HIV who are at risk of potentially life-threatening opportunistic infections.
The Agreement runs until 31 December 2021, during which time CHAI, with support from Unitaid3, will procure up to a maximum of 500,000 VISITECT® CD4 Advanced Disease tests. Within 14 days of signing the Agreement, CHAI will place an initial purchase order for 100,000 tests with delivery dependent upon demand being confirmed by certain Eligible Countries. We expect demand to be confirmed by Eligible Countries later this quarter with shipment to follow thereafter.
The supply of VISITECT® CD4 Advanced Disease tests under the Agreement will help to inform Eligible Countries with national implementation planning to support routine use of the test.
Colin King, CEO of Omega commented: "We are pleased that Omega has been able to enter into this supply agreement with CHAI, who have been very supportive towards accelerating the availability of our VISITECT® CD4 Advanced Disease. This test will help support the healthcare needs of the many people in those countries that are most in need."
But on a serious note: The rhetoric around natural antibody immunity and protection was always driven by agendas other than science, financial and political strategy mainly.
When those strategies change, so will the noise. GLA.
Sage obviously bought the dip.
“Government contract is now a given it is not up for debate.”
Exactly. People need to research what PHE approval is for. Are Avacta, GDR, SNG, NCYT talking about PHE approval for their products in the UK? No. Why?....Because PHE Approval is only a requirement for U.K. Government contracts.
Contrary to misinformation out there, it is not the job of the government, PHE or any other organisation to assess or approve tests for healthcare provider use unless they are to be used in a government testing service.
Bit of a big clue there if people had bothered to research what it’s actually required for.
Here it is....

In any case, a lot of the arguments and discussions and FUD around Antibodies and immunity and vaccines etc will be totally irrelevant to the financial position of Omega in the medium to long term.
These things are affecting our share price now, in the short term, because traders use it to create volatility and it scares off some unresearched investors who might otherwise be buying.
In the medium term, over the next 4 months or so it will become clear that Omega will be selling our entire production capacity of 2 Million tests per week easily, irrespective of what the science says about immunity or anything else.
The impact that little ODX can make in this huge global market of 7 Billion people is insignificant.
All our test production will be sold at good margin totally regardless and investment will come into the stock once that becomes clear.
Market still sleeping on ODX near term profit making ability currently but that will change within a few months, if not a few weeks then all this noise will be irrelevant.
This entire piece assumes that everybody who experienced a loss of sense of smell or taste must have had Covid. That’s simply not the case is it. I’ve had dozens of nasty colds where I lost my sense of taste and smell but I didn’t have Covid antibodies after those colds either. Total rubbish.
When reading FUD on immunity and antibodies it’s important to consider the motivations of those pushing the agenda that there is no natural immunity after infection.
Part of it is political. Anti Government activists and campaigners are fully aware that mass antibody testing is government policy as it’s there as part of the 5 pillar policy on the gov.uk website. Hence bashing antibody immunity can be politically motivated. Anything to make life more difficult for Boris and the Government as they deal with the transition back to economic normality and simultaneously negotiating a deal with the EU.
Additiinally, much of the negativity around the antibody testing and natural immunity after infection is put out by scientists paid to promote vaccination. If 30% of the population are naturally immune when their vaccine is ready how much will that cost them? They want you to have the vaccine. Most scientists say what the people funding them want them to say and the people with the cash are big Pharma developing a vaccine and they want to quash the idea of any naturally conferred immunity at all costs. To this end, the scientists they fund will tell us that immunity conferred naturally from antibody production after infection is unreliable, doesn’t last, not strong enough. Only their $500 vaccine shot can save us!
Basically, think of the motivations behind these “surveys” like this.
I prefer to consider the simple fact that there is still not one verified case of reinfection globally. How can that be if there’s no natural immunity after recovery?
People are immune naturally after infection. They don’t want you to know it!
DYOR.

This is just another spam account for this “************”, or Small Crap ***** as he’s more commonly known.
This URL just takes you to his twitter account which has protected tweets.
It’s useless spam. He posts this crap at weekends everywhere.
Don’t click on it.
However, while Alva are working to finalize tech transfer of the ABC-19 LFT and scale up into production, at Littleport they are a couple of months ahead with the Mologic Elisa tests and have already made thousands in validation batches.
At Littleport they are well on the way to increasing production to the 46,000 per day target and it’s the Elisa test that has been approved for sale in India and is currently being marketed in 18 countries via the Omega distribution network set up for CD4.
Many are still focused on the LFT but the Elisa test will arguably be more profitable and orders are due nearer term. It could provide a surprise or two in the next couple of weeks. GLA LTH.

Now increasing production to millions and will be available for professional use by doctors and pharmacists by end August according to Abingdon Health.
We will be able to go to a chemist and have a 20 mi it’s while u wait rapid antibody test that has been proven at 99.4% accurate.
Abingdon press release and video. This is new.....

According to latest Abingdon tweet....
“"It's been a real team effort"
Chris Hand, Steph Mabin and Jon Flint spoke with the BBC about the AbC-19 COVID-19 rapid antibody test being approved for professional use. The test will be mass produced and rolled out from the end of August”
This fits in with what Colin says about the Gov order contract being finalized in the next 2 weeks.
There will have to be a formal contract signed with Omega before they commit to going into full production.
IMO opinion that’s when the media will really run with the whole ABC-19 RTC story.
If we remember some months ago we had a 24 hour antibody test frenzy with all manner of ill informed commentators giving their two penneth.
That was when the Gov 10 million order for the Roche tests was announced.
Arguably, the RTC story is far more interesting and far more newsworthy. I’d expect the order announcement to coincide with a press relesse on roll out and what they’ll cost and how and where we get them etc.
That’s when the press and media frenzy will really kick in.
Looks like they are expecting the Ulster Uni usability study to take only a couple of weeks. Maybe they’ve started it already?
Four weeks to rollout according to Abingdon. Order news and media frenzy somewhere in between.
Happy Days. GLA.
Will probably follow today.
I’m camping and got no tv so will be checking the board and twitter regularly for and video links and news reports etc.
It won’t be long before mainstream media join the dots and reach the conclusion that the newly approved rapid ABC-19 test is going to be rolled out in test centers all over the country very soon using the recently announced gov £5Billion budget allocated for that purpose.
MHRA home use approval will blow the doors off afterwards.
Moving into a hugely news rich period now with ABC19 test moving up the gears and news due on the Mologic Elisa tests, CD4 and food intolerance progress in China.
This MHRA 2,000 person trial for self test accreditation is nailed on as they’ve just successfully had a 3,000 person trial also by ulster uni although that was more for efficacy as against useability.
A very exciting 2 months here with 6+ pieces of news due between now and September that each have the potential to move our share price forward by 20-30% or more if the imagination of the public is fired and the updates are coupled with big publicity as with the UKRTC ABC-19 Test rollout.
A very exciting time to be invested here.
GLA.
Exactly. Look at it like the Customs checks.
UK border force and customs don’t care much about what’s leaving. It’s whats coming in that they have to control.
If airlines and airports want to test passengers to reduce risk to their staff before embarking then it’s more likely to be just a temperature scan.
It was just copied from an earlier post of mine about 4 posts back. I’ll try again here, it worked last time.....
This short news piece video from the Indian Economic Times explains how the Indian Government are instigating a program of mass antibody testing with a view to issuing immunity passports. It has all the usual caveats that are gradually being dispelled. Still no verified reinfections anywhere.....

It isn’t fake.
This article and video from the reputable Indian “Economic Times” says the same thing, that the Indian Government is moving to mass antibody testing with a goal of implementing “immunity certificates”.

Maybe a lot are totally unaware but this Elisa test developed by Mologic, which is the one recently approved for sale in India, was developed using ÂŁ1M of UK Gov funding.
That’s why the Indians will love it. That’s why UK Gov will buy it as well.
Looking very very tasty indeed for maxing out full Omega production capacity and then some. Orders are definitely not going to be a problem.
