FYI looks like there was a huge buy UT before close for circa £22 million value and ~3.5million shares

Nice Buy, got in perfect timing for Hoc. Of course things like hopes of peace deals are unpredictable but regardless 5.90 was a good price to get back in. Unfortunately, since many people are thinking gold/silver are going have one last pull back, i decided to keep some cash on the side.

Pretty rough week. Was up circa 20k from 3 weeks ago buying at 5.85, aim was to sell at 7.00. unfortunately with how Sh*t HSBC smart investor is, you cant set a limit price, or trailing stop.

The same has happened over the last 2 days, around 8:30am time we see a nice reversal. Though buying and selling is perfect given these volatile conditions, i have just kept and planning to hold. Could be a solid week ahead given fres and hoc updates.

It is impossible to predict what will happen especially with these modern day antics where the system is operating backwards. Many people who have holdings in miners are in similar situations as this is unexpected. Dont get me wrong i could have taken profits 30k in hoc 30k in edv after silver recovering back to $95. However, you cant predict these things, else you everyone would be multi millionaires.

Just cost average as appropriate. this is just another buy opportunity

Many people have their capital stuck in miners at the moment, most people probably held while AU/AG were at their tops. Can never predict when the big fish in control decide to kill the spot using paper. Long term this doesnt change the picture for au/ag and Hoc.

People including my self could have sold at when silver was around 95$ recently with 30k profit in EDV and 30k in Hoc, however i decided to hold and add to my holdings as of today.

Time will let thing play out for us that are waiting, just need some patience

Exactly like you said, HOC is behaving normally for once. FRES and EDV the price has been moving up and down 3-7% which is ridiculous, large institutions are probs trading with millions. Lets see what targets brokers give tomorrow. Pure bulls*** going on, who is buying the dollar. Serious BS

I recently got back from Guadalajara about 2 weeks ago on a solo trip, luckily I got out of there in time.

Fresnilo is located south of Guadalajara, many of its operations etc run in a place called Zacatecas, which is where a lot of the Mexican miners are located. If cartels do take control of ports then it can cause a further supply deficit. However, this whole cartel situation is likely one of trumps plans, same as Venezuela. Considering Mexico produces 24% of the world’s silver we will have to see how this plays out.

Topped up 30k in fres, will be at ATH soon enough, price is just lagging behind following that recent report (guidance i believe it was). the one lagging tends to play catch up especially in these PM markets. Given china re-opening a day before fres earning report, if silver holds above $70, Fres gaps up 8% mininum

I ended up taking a profits approx 18k at fres ATH, then bought back later at 43. Timing couldnt have been worse, this is when silver plummeted to $85, so either i wait it out or take a loss which would pointless given that i took out 18k. still have EDV which i bought around £39 and yes they did hit almost £49, i was tempted to sell here too but profits are now halves. this volitility is perfect for trading but when capital is stuck all you can do is watch.

also very odd, earning reports season for most miners yet prices still get hammered. also dont know how these bullion banks are planning on making physical deliveries. last year gold and silver shot up after the chinese new year, but this year price is seriously being supressed

Just bare in mind Chinese new year, so they will be closed from next Tuesday for 2 weeks I believe and return on 3rd of march. Last year gold shot up, however times are different now with all sorts in the background, march delivery dates coming up and banks don’t have physical to deliver it will only worsen the shortage. Unless they hike margins on purpose once again

Bought some into First majestic, Barclays take quite a chunk from fees. Harvgraves seems abit better.

There will be a day sometime this week when the hammer comes out, just dont know when they will decide on doing it, since gold and silver have been exploding 5-6 days straight without any stopping, i wouldnt be surprised if we have small dip to buy at, i think ill wait to get back into FRES atm

To be Honest, HOC exploded upwards which was due. i have a significant holding in HOC anyways so will be keeping this for many years.

Also funny how people believe these BS targets and valuations from JPM, UBS. I do the opposite of what these fraudsters say.

I did the same with Hoc last week, sold at 566. took around 15k profit, then bought into EDV when it was behind. EDV seems to be struggling but EDV silvers seems to do much better. Still up on EDV, but would've been up around 42k in HOC.

Sold fres earlier today to top my ISA to the Max with all profits.

Probs look to buy Fres + hoc once they dip a little.
