Thanks for taking the time to reply KP, its good to get the views of the long term holder...
Good morning, I am looking at the company for the first time and wonder if those of you that are invested or have been following for some time would be able to offer your views of the management team? Are you happy that they are looking to maximize shareholder return or benefit themselves?
I ask this as it is not clear to me what warranted the 'discretionary bonus awarded to senior management in January 2021 settled through the issue of shares' announced in the last company report? Also the price of warrants outstanding on the face of itdo not seem to Incentivise management to increase the share price for their own benefit
Like I say, only just starting to look at the company so I have no axe to grind but these boards normally allow for good insight and hopefully positive feedback.
Many thanks
Paul
LOL, noted ITV :) off for now for the weekend...
Thank Noob...
I am inclined to agree Nate, I have some concerns for the first time based on the progress of others seen recently. I have brought my average down as best I can and have a better exit point on a discovery but hopefully things will improve quicker than expected and meet market expectations. The game is on...
It seems the following are the ones to watch as (near to) peers:
1. Imperial Helium
2. Desert Mountain
3. Renergen
4. Avanti Energy
5. North American Helium Inc.
Anyone else?

This was 'Oilman Jim's response to that on Twitter yesterday to that question which I found reassuring.

Thanks Noob, good info, I had missed those appointments. As you say provides much more confidence they will get this sorted out this time. He knows its there and its his last shot at the moon.
This is the same posters assessment of #HE1:
https://www.reddit.com/r/HeliumOne/comments/pmyzfa/the_economic_geological_value_of_surface_seeps/
"Desert Energy is drilling in the Holbrook Basin, Arizona USA - a known Helium Producing area. Interestingly enough, the old, now abandoned helium fields were found by accident while looking for Natural Gas. No surface seeps of Helium are reported in the area. NOW -- Helium One is exploring for Helium where it is venting from the earth at greater than 10% Helium by volume of sample collected. The >10% Helium is the highest concentration that I as a geologist have been able to locate with an exhaustive search of the geological literature. There has to be an immense resource down in the earth --- now where is it trapped and accumulated? Helium One is not giving up looking and all the mystery parts of the "conversations with the earth" will come together."
I was looking at Desert Mountain and their progress over the weekend and thought this may interest those looking for some kind of comparison., its the best there is.

Bit of both today :)
DM's frustrations was and is palpable. It has just had me thinking over the last week or so, taking into account the complete dearth of updates and information, they may just be going for it; in a location where they have sufficient information to achieve the 'Discovery' status.
Who knows but it seems to me to be at least plausible on the assumption they don't have to declare the enterprise in a RNS before hand.
What if they have a shallow drilling rig on site and they are going for the next RNS being discovery to regain the perceived loss of reputation? Is that possible under the rules surrounding what must be notified or would the mere presence of a rig mean they would have to tell the investors?
Buys to sells at a ratio of 8.5 : 1 today.
Thanks Dai...
Many thanks Dai,
I've been following quite closely since Tai commenced I just could not piece together the change in location decision going back over older documentation. They are the experts on the ground and its not a case of second guessing (even with the full benefit of hindsight), its just that to me Tai is the smallest of the identified zones and I wondered why it was therefore chosen over others.
From what I can gather its the Karoo seal and its variations that is what they are working around, clearly they wanted a deep deposit discovery with presumably greater volume and must have been confident that they could have achieved this with the Mitchells rig.
Thanks once again for responding.
Paul
Please could anyone offer any background as to the logic or reason why the drill plan changed from the stated 'HE1’s exploration wells will be shallow (300 - 1,200m) and use a slim hole rig, which is cheaper. The three planned wells will target the Mbuni, Itumbula and Kasuku prospects and are expected to cost just US$2.5m.' (namely the target locations) to the Tai target just drilled?
Many thanks
Paul

Interesting as well the following:
"Mitchell Drilling option to take payment for 3rd and 4th hole as equity demonstrating commitment and confidence in the project". Source: Strategic Resource In An Expanding Market, May 2021, Investor presentation.
Would also explain the lack of a 3rd or 4th hole.
Personally I think that is a really good and interesting point that is most likely one of many behind the scenes. There is so much more to this that relates to running a business, conserving cash, refining the plan and getting on with the job. All this other stuff is just noise from PI traders and nothing to do with the company and the job in hand. They have drilled two tiny holes in a gigantic concession with multiple other sites, it still remains exciting to me but it may not be a get rich quick scheme but an investment opportunity; imagine that! Lets let them do their jobs, they are best placed to make the decisions and seem to know what they are doing.
For the love of God please stop, I am just hoping to get some valuable information and insight by reading the posts, this is worse than school!
