I am just saying that the Lexus shown at CES 2019 was the LS500H platform 4 the one pictured was definitely an older platform. There is lots of mention of the guardian in the platform 4 ie seamless blended control were the system works with you, human and machine etc whether this is Guardian optical technologies, the Tel Aviv based company backed by Toyota money. I think it most probably is, but I may be wrong. Either way they have the right to pick and choose and just because there in a test car does not mean its a win for anyone. All bets are still on in my opinion and im waiting for that rns
Was that CES this year? As much as I would love Toyota to be declaring to be using seeing machines fovio in its cars I can not help notice that some of these images and articles are old. Sure they have worked with them in the past and hopefully they are still committed with us BUT UNTILL THEY STOP FUNDING THE OPPOSITION IM NOT 100% in that what Safestocks Oct 2nd article mentions. It would be good but either way were going to be in tens of millions of cars soon.
second apple employee accused of stealing apple car details, rumours indicate a car is in the works for a launch planned for 2023-25. https://www.macrumors.com/2019/01/30/apple-employee-apple-car-secrets-theft/?utm_source=osx&utm_medium=push&utm_campaign=front
if I had invested in a sipp around half a million profit although I had it left in the technology fund thats shares have gone up thousands of percent but the unit price is lower today than in 2001, absolutely crazy but thats fraud.
Terry funny you mention apple as in 2002 I transfered my pension into a company owned by Aegon Scottish Equitable as they had a technology fund it was not a vast large amount but for me it was a lot 10k then 18 years later the fund is still lower than it was in 2001 the hight of the dot com bubble in the last three months Apple has fallen over 12 times they were at the hight of the dot com amazon fallen x5 times hight, Google almost four times its listing price still up twenty fold though adobe up twenty fold from 2002 plus lots more what I learned is there is lots of fraud in the financial markets especially mismanagement of funds so the answer is don't use funds do it yourself hopefully this is going to be my ticket :-) good luck all and yes this is an extra ordinary situation that we are in.
I want to add to todays chat that what See should be worth as some on here are still under the impression that this will not get to over a pound.
If Seeing Machines Ltd the full company were to be sold for a quarter of the valuation of what mobileye were sold for in 2016 based on valuation of 15.3 billion that would equate a price of 3.825 billion dollars for See so roughly 2.92 billion pounds,
this would mean that the share price needs to go up 29.3 times todays price around 1 pound twenty seven pence for see which is about four weeks profit for Apple, THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN
I believe if sold tomorrow this would be worth 2 to 2.4 billion maybe a lot more if bidding were to commence from the tech biggies, also more contracts more increase in price obviously, if this is allowed to get were it looks to be heading with all its offshoots of business inc Rail, Air, Guardian becomes the standard built in dms, airport security and Nucoria. then with the odd military air contract I would say quite a lot lot more. but I would be surprised if we were not bought out on the cheap for two or three billion. in a few years time I believe various offshoots alone would be worth 2 billion each.
Thanks Terrym I no that my kitchen sink is not as big as yours but its very important to me if you no what I mean, In fact thanks to all the main contributors on here who keep a bit of sanity in my life and good luck and roll on the good times life is to short and fast.
I have not seen the Cenkos report but looking at what some others are saying on here regards VW looking quite a good bet that they will be joining the party soon, Am I correct that the VW group are MAN trucks and buses and also the Scania group this could be absolutely huge. Also anyone want to enlighten on the some telling stuff out by summer.
thanks in advance
raising cash is not such a bad thing here and im sure they have lots of options to do it if needed, hopefully clarity on this will be forthcoming soon. is it also true that if they raise cash some of this is off set against future taxes profits etc.
in my opinion as a long term holder not willing to sell even at 40p I was very happy with the rns, well done Seeing Machines.
I no the share price is the same old same old today but this has been a great news day really great in fact, shame about cenko's still playing games though. but at least we have a per car value that is around three times more than I thought we were dealing with. :-)
WTF I have always been under the impression that we were to be getting around 10 dollars per car and at possibly 30 million cars a year in the future generating around 300 million dollars. So lets say we did get Toyota and it becomes mandatory in car testing then this 50 million would be possible and at 30 dollars a car it could be 1500 million plus the other parts of the business, were truly gonna be bought out. and the good thing it's just gone up by another couple of billion at least in my eyes. good times ahead.
I'm sorry but I think below is taking the Pi55 this start up from Tel Aviv that calls its self Guardian optical technologies and doing driver monitoring, also it raised $5.5 million from the Mirai creation fund which is backed with Toyota money, I hope seeing machines are going to be charging companies more if there looking elsewhere for a cheaper deals then coming back later on. at least that's maybe why Toyota can call its driver monitoring guardian, It would just be better if it were using Fovio from seeing machines.
To see what Merc are offering have a look at the CLA with MBUX which is going to be in more than 10 models it is this that semicast was referencing to with is this the first win for seeing machines using its interior cabin sensor as maybe that is required for the gesture control to work at night.
