Pdub, you have a good point but on any acquisition the management are at risk of losing their jobs
I just thought it may be easier to buy the whole package if there is difficulty in separating issues with the main company and a subsidiary. It would appear that Cellcube are struggling fir revenues and may fold anyway. I believe the money the consortium are paying on a regular basis is keeping it afloat.
Website has been designed to show vrfb pipeline, why would they design it in that fashion if there are no contracts in the offering. I strongly believe there BE time is coming, the next couple of months will show the way.
Bassguy, i had my doubts but would Fortune and Mikhail use deception in such a prominent scrutinised website. The narrative makes you believe it is Vametco, surely they would use a caption saying this is a computerised image of what the site will look like when completed. By placing a human in the picture gives authenticity as to its real life image. I have been a shareholder since October 2013 and i have never known the BOD use deception or sleight of hand.
If Drifter88 calculations are correct and that 250MWh relates into many many Vametco mini grids then i would be very disappointed that this contract or contracts does not warrant a rns next week. To lump this type of information into an all encompassing end of year report will in my opinion will lose impact.
Vauch, Bushveld is having electrolyte supplied by a partner at the present time. If you remember they supplied the vanadium to be processed into electrolyte and we then gave it to companies to test its quality. I believe the Vametco mini grid has been built and i would be likebtomthink thatnit is our electrolyte that is installed in the 10 Bushveld logo batteries on site.
Shows a photograph of a very large solar panelled landscape with 11 storage battery containers with the Bushveld logo on the side and front. The narrative talks about Vametco hybrid mini grid system, has the Vametco mini grid been built or are they just playing poetic licence with this photograph???
2 years ago The Singapore Energy Market Authority (EMA) installed s vrfb onto their grid system for testing. I sent an email to EMA asking for any information as to the test results this is there reply.
Dear Mr
Thank you for email
The energy storage test bed project is still on going, the results of the test bed will not be published
publicly. Where relevant the findings obtained from the test bed will be used to establish technical
Guidelines and policies for ESS deployment in Singapore. EMA will update the industry when ready.
I wonder how many other energy companies are testing vrfb’s and whether the information is shared, whether there is universal acknowledgement that vrfb can support and enhance other renewable technology.
Last year about August time put thousands of homes and businesses in the dark and the National Grid was looking for solutions to prevent overloading etc. could the post by Sahid be a solution and game changer. Lets keep our fingers crossed!!!!!
Whoever wins the Eskom contract for renewable energies may not be vrfb related, but if Eskom dictate that vrfb will be used you can bet that the winning contender will be told to use electrolyte from Bushveld. The creation of local jobs will be top of the list as SA comes out of covid 19
Is it slowing us down in Africa. Fortune and Mikhail have always said that they wanted to develop, install and management renewable projects in Africa and have joint ventures with other partners globally. Some of the enquiries that Mikhail has received could have been building and install projects so Bushveld requires it’s own manufacturing and supply base. When this acquisition is over the line we may see a flurry of BE news.
Hi Pdub, like you i have been here a long time October 2013, i have seen Fortune put out great rns to show how this company has been built into a cash cow. But, there is just something that is not clicking with investors. The only only thing that i can think of is that every body is poised to see whether BE is going to be the revolutionary industry that we all think it is. A rise in production or vanadium prices or even the settlement with Enerox may lift it a little but BE contracts will launch this share price into the stratosphere. Just my opinion.
Will only come in my opinion when BE shows confirmed contracts to build mini grids and other forms of battery storage on a large and sustainable scale. There is only moderate interest in Bushveld the vanadium miner and very little sentiment, but Bushveld the battery storage, electrolyte supplier and electricity generator is the key for a share rerate. Lets hope that Mikhail has turned some of those hundreds of enquiries into commercial developments.
A subsidiary of Aggreko in October 2017 placed a redox flow battery on the Singapore grid system for the Energy Market Authority (EMA) to test for 2 years. I cannot find any information as to the test
Results or whether Vrfbs are being used on a regular basis in Singapore. Any suggestions for searching??
Has gone very quiet, our consortium owns 25% of this company and the consortium has to date paid 1.7m euros for the pleasure. What is happening to our investment i hope there is an explanation in the report due next month. It would be nice to know who the consortium members are but the secrecy is deafening.
Was the beginning of 44 other similar projects that Infinity were hoping to be involved in with EDF energy, just thinking whether the share rise is a little leak of further work on the UK hub projects. Fingers crossed!!!
