Highlights of todays TL Gov Cabinet meeting. the Strategic development plan, which was
2011-2030 originally, recently amended to 2022-2030, is basically, the intended TL growth
of other sectors and Island infrastructure (for after oil/gas) Paid for by the sovereign
petroleum wealth fund built primarily from its Oil and Gas revenues and taxes.
The Council of Ministers approved the draft Decree-Law, presented by Minister Gastão Francisco
de Sousa, which approves the structure of the Ministry of Planning and Strategic Investment .
Ministry of Planning and Strategic Investment is the government department responsible for
designing, coordinating and evaluating the policy, defined and approved by the Council of
Ministers, for the areas of promotion of the country's economic and social development,
through strategic and integrated planning and rationalization available financial resources,
assuming specific responsibilities regarding the implementation of the Strategic Development Plan.
The Council of Ministers approved the draft Decree-Law, presented by Minister Filipus Nino Pereira,
which approves the structure of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry .
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is the government department responsible for the design,
execution, coordination and evaluation of policies, defined and approved by the Council of
Ministers for the areas of commercial and industrial economic activities.
Lastly, the draft Decree-Law presented by Minister Santina José Rodrigues F. Viegas Cardoso, which
approves the structure of the Ministry of Finance, was approved .
