It looks like a contract is imminent with a large o ands g engineering service company and evaluating potential PSC partners and drilling services companies to develop block SK334 in Sarawak.

That’s the thing the share price was moving along nice and steady before the fake bid, I don’t think the board have done anything illegal but have not covered themselves in glory,I am sure this will just be a minor blip and will soon pass. Sarawak I believe will be a game changer and will naturally push the mc up. I feel for people if they got spiked Monday as it’s happen to me before but people just need to sit and let’s see how the board react to this in the coming weeks and I am sure any drop will recover.

I have always said I want to see upland follow this through to the end, but this offer/false offer is going to give them some bad press short/medium term and the shorts will probably be back on it Monday. Very disappointing, I don’t think the board are involved in anything illegal but should have checked the offer fully before issuing rns, they have been conned here but luckily they categorically turned it down any way and had to answer to the rumours online. I think the market makers know there is a short timescale to load up on their cheap shares. Who would want to be out over the weekend.

One thing the preliminary offer has done is wake the market up to what upland resources are sat on. It’s unbelievable to think the 14p offer has had no impact on the price at all but not all bad some shares churned and new interest from new investors, tr1,s starting to land inline with takeover approach, psc news to land immently then the derampers and shorts will disappear, I don’t think I have ever seen news not have a impact like it has here.
