The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Trading4Good.
So your position is that any fees due in line with a pre existing and binding agreement may be considered an extension of the existing and binding agreement wrt sanctions?
I appreciate your considered response and tone.
There was a concerning tone within the last RNS but based on Amur recently and some sanction exemptions I remain hopeful for a decent outcome.
TBF I wrote off the JV after the last RNS, the next couple of weeks shall clear things up or kick the can down the road.
I would consider can kicking as a positive outcome. ;-)
Trading4Good, you state “ My concern now, with the December sanctions update, is that activating the JV will cause EUA to be sanctioned as, in essence, it is a new transaction”
Why would a binding agreement be deemed in essence as a new transaction??
Asking for a friend ;-)
3Roach, it would seem strange to liken the complications leading to delays to the example of AMUR.
The shareholders voted to approve the sale at $35M back in August. It is the time elapsed since August that AMUR refer to when referencing complications leading to a delay.
As far as I am aware I have not as yet been provided the opportunity to vote to approve a sale of any assets.
It would only be after the the sale of assets was approved that any AMUR like delays could take place.......;-(
I watched and learned zero.
I especially disliked the part where he said we will skip the company financials.!
Well that took all of 8 seconds to disprove.

Search the word "funded" ;-)

Do you think the board would reinvest funds to a Russian asset?
As I recall our strategy is to sell our Russian assets?
You nearly had me there Leo until
"DS sold all his shares and has never been heard of since, even on LinkedIn, although in yet another false RNS the board claim he is still working as M&A director."
LOL
Come on, time to fess up.
Which one of you is on the board?
That has to be the most definitive clearly worded RNS I have seen from EUA.
Very clearly provides an update on each point raised in the preceding months. I feel it supports the LovleyBoy assumptions around NYUD and the JV-MAC wrong again (just saying, don't be surprised or shoot the messenger please).
All in all a very positive update and I'm off to raid my piggy bank ;-)
Merry Xmas
Mac,
You state…”if I’m honest”
I doubt that very much indeed ;-)
How do we think a NN transaction would be viewed if their largest shareholder is under sanctions?
I can’t see the powers that be allowing these assets moving to the control of a sanctioned bod.
If no RNS in the next week I doubt NN were in the mix.
Thanks Beast, but no update on whether the dragline is operational.
It is over 10 weeks since and the only update which you refer to is for the supporting infrastructure.
Nothing about Dragline operations, which would have a material impact on operations?
Mac, you state...
"and we look forward to updating on our electric power and dragline projects, both expected to contribute to the winter 2022/23 stripping programme."
Can you tell me which RNS includes this update please? Winter 22/23 appears to be here.
BLOOMIN FREEZING OUTSIDE ;-)
I too have long held the opinion SteJSteJ is the way Mac can see Green Boxes to judge board sentiment.

Missing the keyword "before" in your crusade against Mac there seasick. Whilst it may well NOT be November, it still COULD be November.
If anything, it's a statement to say "might be a little bit later than we said, but by the end of the year"
Does that clarify your thinking at the time? ;-)

I wouldn't be surprised if it comes in November, nor if it's December. As per the RNS stating before the end of the year.
I guess that's a yes ;-)
so my first post in this thread is deleted? The post Pompal first refers to
Funny that as it had 17 recommendations and was not abusive or unkind to anyone in any way.
But it didn't agree with Mac ;-0
TBF Scotty that is at least as likely.
I would be ok with that if WK pulls a profit in 2022.
That way we know how to build up to profit in MT by 2026 ish.
Under this scenario I would load up significantly on the inevitable drop.
Have a pleasant evening all.
Agree Pompal, I expect acceptance end q1 and offer q2.
So news on sale q2 wrapped up in q3.
Thanks Zak ;-)
