In January the firm inked a deal with chemicals giant Nouryon, which will market the polymers to its large customer base. It has a similar  supply and marketing agreement with Croda International. 

With these two on-side Capital thinks revenues will hit £1.7 million in 2019, £3.5 million in 2020 and £6.5 million in 2021, the year the company is also expected to break even. Capital adds that Itaconix could hit £100 million in revenues by 2029.

Capital says: “We believe that these deals support strong revenue growth in the 2020 to 2021 time frame.”

With this first half financial performance and commercial progress, the Board believes the Company is currently on track to meet market expectations for the full year.

The share price was 2.2p when this analyst interview was filmed on the 27/6/19. The analyst said that global peers with similar technologies are valued 3-5 times higher than Itaconix citing Woodford’s large holding was depressing the price. Listen from 2 mins 40 secs.

In one of the more recent interviews John Shaw talked about bringing out new line extensions so perhaps news on that front soon. We will see.

The share price was 2.4p when that article was published. I missed out on the cheap 5p BIDS shares late last year (starting buying at 9p) and will not be making the same mistake here. The biggest gains can be made early on when the market cap is low and re-rates to more sensible levels happen very quickly.

This analyst interview is from 21/3/19 and things have progressed a lot since then, yet the share price has fallen to all time lows (thanks to Woodford - yet to be confirmed). I have build up a decent holding over the past week.

It was refreshing to see the growing presence of gaming and esports companies at Cannes Lions this year – best illustrated by Activision Blizzard pitching its tent at the Palais des Festivals. It is no big surprise however, as marketers look for the next big advertising opportunity, which gaming can provide. The size and interest in the industry is also shown by OMD choosing Cannes to launch its report on the top social media influencers – including the top 20 gamers.

“With the launch of cloud gaming platforms on the horizon such as Google Stadia, these influencers are set to become even bigger stars in the gaming world thanks to gaming becoming more affordable and accessible naturally increasing reach. We will see brands flocking to this new medium – in particular in-game native advertising.

Google isn't the only big player looking to deliver games in the cloud, stored on massive data centers and played via broadband. Microsoft, Amazon and Apple have all teased plans to deliver online games. The global cloud gaming market is expected to grow from $234 million in 2018 to $2.5 billion by 2023, according to estimates from data and information provider IHS Markit.
