So, I understand that the excess gas will be flared and the AM can run on surplus gas. So, would the AM have a gas tank to supply “fuel” gas?

Yep well said, we need a big high pressure over the area and a long swell period rather than gusty blows and short range peeky waves. 35 years a surfer!
Fairly chunky swell the next couple of days but Wednesday is lining up https://magicseaweed.com/North-Atlantic-Surf-Chart/2/?type=swell
Excuse the question but how much work is needed to hook up the AM to the buoy? I assume that all the surf equipment has been pressure tested and likewise for the AM. So I also assume that the connections to the buoy must be releasable in case of emergency? Surely then it should be fairly simple to mate them together and test the connections then start making the well live?
I’m getting an underway, is this it!
Perhaps the new proposed upgrades for the AM are underway whilst dockside to future proof her. Could explain lack of movement?
