Someone must be hoping/expecting a decent bid to come in by the 20th having lashed out almost 55k on a 20,000 shares purchase this morning. Fingers crossed they know more than we do at this juncture!
Placing of 5% of the company by Permira. But what its implications are I couldn't tell you.
Chaotic: the same thought has crossed my mind. But, as far as IH is concerned, and if a major tie-up between IWG and MDZ was enacted in the near future, couldn't that be classed as insider trading?
Season's greetings Gotrader. Appreciate the minutiae of your posts - I just wish we'd see some action on the share price. Maybe shortly in the New Year?
A wonderful Christmas bonus for IWG holders with today's news of an all-cash takeover. Everyone must still be in bed!
Ian Hallett now owns 20% of MDZ. Intriguing.
The irony of this lack of news etc from a PR conglomerate is that it seems a case of the cobbler's children!
CMS has been one of my 'patient' shares, hoping steady growth of business would be reflected in its share price. My mistake! I would have been far better off trading this at intervals of several months over the last five years. In fact, today's price is still more than 20% down on its peak of 2013. Promised much but hasn't delivered - unfortunately.
Seems a pleasing report with confident noises about the future. I should think the only way is up!
(0% loss Forklift? Presume you mean 90% and you left the caps lock on. 60p Gotrader? Presume you mean 6p? When were Porta ever 60p?
I wonder if Adastra has been tempted back in at these lowly prices seeing as he was constantly flying a kite for Porta. Surprising if he hasn't given his enthusiasm for the new CEO and other appointments.
Here's hoping the Porta companies are scouting for all the new business that will be out there following the Bell-Pottinger fiasco.
This is what annoys me about this game. An absence of news but the share goes from 490p to 420p in a matter of weeks. Someone somewhere knows something - but they ain't telling us.
So the company has issued new shares which dilutes our holding!
Does this mean we are rid of that punitive loan to the Morton family?
So David Wright retires with immediate effect along with a string of other boardroom shuffles. No mention of the RNS on LSE but they will no doubt catch up. The shares rise nearly a quarter in response. The new CFO needs to get a grip on the extortionate loan rate currently being paid and, hopefully, along with good news later this month, we might see further progress to give us long-suffering investors some light at the end of the abyss.
I wonder if Porta have thought about employing the slogan 'from bad to worse' for their PR stunts.
Well it's only 2p off the offer price and unless you've got a substantial holding, it's not worth holding on to this share now.
...if Porta's bulletin board flag bearer Adastra has been tempted to buy back in at these prices following his announcement that he had disposed of his shareholding which came as something of a surprise.
'Large shareholders selling millions of shares': Are they jumping a sinking ship? The silence from this 'Public Relations' company is deafening. It's been one dog of a share in so many ways.
