Fair point JG but I don't think the future dividend policy alone should be negative for Energean. Some might say a 10% yield is considered suspicious by the market. Value will also out in growth over time.

JG, you need to look at the total dividend payout over 2025 including the (up to) 85p special.

I admit the ambiguity around the 're-defining the dividend policy' wording is unhelpful & needs clarification but to have effectively three quarterly dividends (3 x 23p) in a lump sum payment is not to be sniffed at.

When the price recovers, bask in the glory of knowing you weren't fooled by the market & sail away smugly with your regular dividends knowing others have to pay a higher price if they want your shares.
