Today has been a good day for this BB.IMHO. WE have all felt sufficiently disillusioned to let fly our frustrations about how this company conducts its business and I feel we are the better as a group for it.
Semantics aside , we are all seeking the 'truth' about how the present state of affairs came bout and what is the way forward.I believe all contributors today wrote the 'truth' as they saw it,but not one of us has the whole facts on whci h to base a judgement, so the exercise is pointless.There are quite a few clever posters on here who try to ferret out what is actually going on, but to be fair, they are educated guesses----not the real truth as Art knows it.SO what is happening is that some of us are having 'a go' at each other.instead of a concerted effort to get Art to spill the beans.I'm not saying he would,but maybe atl least we should be directing out wrath more towards AM than each other.This a right Royal mess.I am trapped .I am not prepared to sell and yet fearful of losing the lot.Does that sound famiiar??If you're iike me you are hoping that somehow things will work out.but then we're all optimists or we wouldn't be here at all.

Like most I have had my successes and failures but the goings on here are now getting me very anxious indeed.Art has been attempting to get this project financed for over a year and still all we get are encouraging noises about progress but stil no concrete announcement of having tied it up.The blame has been shifted on to NNPC and others but maybe NNPC have been waiting for the Financing before signing it off.
Two Placings have come 'out of the blue' after being distracted the otjer way by so called imminent good news. This atest Placing Price has devastated most of our holdings and in some cases caused real financilal difficulties for individuals and families.Yes, we are all grown ups and know we are taking risk. However, that risk is usually based on being in possession of all the facts and then making what we consider to be a rational decision.In the cases cited ,on both occasions, CEO A Millholland went on the podcast route and made very positive noises about imminent good news which implied that our investment would increase by multiples.
On both occasions we were deceived. Instead of the promised good news we were diluted and assured of ''Jam tomorrow''.
In any other other human endeavour this may be described as a form of theft.I cannot interpret what has happened in any other way. Yet Art continues on his merry way. And still no word of a Service Provider or a sign off by NNPC.
Instead of updating us by RNS, which is the norn,he uses Cathy to field all the difficult questions.How much she really knows it is difficult to ascertain,but her repies seem to generally reflect Arts strategy..
Now,the water has been furthur muddied by the ESSAR disagreeemnt. Are we to believe Art was unaware of this befeoe trupeting his imminent good news story?? The whoile thing stinks.
The truth is impossible to for us poor stooges to know. We are kept in the dark and and all we can hope for is that ART is a clever operator who really was on our side all along.If I am proved to have got it all wrong then I apologise but what else can we interpret from the scanty
information we are privy to???What is sorely needed is a complete explanation of what has guided ARts strategy up until now. We long suffering LTHers deserve no less.Sorry for the rant----long winded as it is, but the air needs to be cleared.for all our sakes.
