and have agonised over his long silences and then multiple missed deadlines and had virtually given up the ship,as I had ,must have been struck by the tone and content of Fridays RNS. To me it had a ring of truth missing from all the others. To me at least it seemed that at last he really had something important to say and it was genuine and personal. It reflected his own confidence in the future of the company, he said.It WILL generate the funds and it WILL CONCLUDE the financial arrangements necessary to commence drilling in th published timescale. I cannot prove his sincerity. I felt it.The day previously Schlumberger announced their heavy involvement in the adjacent block.Kola is a Director of Shoreline and Schlumberger Coincidence??I think not. Art is always reluctant to produce a meaningful RNS. This time he did it with a vengeance. At this point he could have pulled the plug---blamed everyone else and quietly disappeared. But he doubled down by putting his own money into the fray and instead of indicating it was to keop the lights on, he almost excitedly asserted that this small injection was going to enable COPL to become a mid tier oil producer. That was quite a statement. Not only that but at the rate COPL burns cash, the conclusion would become apparent in as little as two weeks.
This was a different RNS as many will also have sensed. If we are right, the rewards will be sensational. I cannot frankly see the prospect of anything but success.GLA
