In a recent paper, Simon Davidson Kurland of Chalmers University estimated that 55-65kWh of energy was required to manufacture a kWh of a lithium ion battery cell.
A calculation (by Jiyun Heo of the Korean Institute of Science and Technology) describes the energy cost to produce 1kWh of vanadium electrolyte to be approximately 1kWh.
The energy cost for production of the stacks is low, involving relatively simple manufacturing processes such as injection moulding for plastic components and casting and machine of steel end plates.
So someone understands the benefit of #CitySafeBattery then. In addition to the above, Invinity has delivered 240 kWh of battery modules since the beginning of 2020 to a demonstration project sponsored by a municipal US utility; these modules have been delivered under a programme intended to validate VFBs' potential to improve the future operating performance of the utility within its geographic mandate.

@Stodgy88: In defense against one previous reply to to your thread many LTH continue their research into all aspects of BMN, V and VRFBs. The depth of that research is staggering and is all in the public domain albeit well hidden. From the little that I am aware of we are all sitting on a share that has tremendous potential. We are all disheartened with some of the "chat" on here at times but I for one will be hanging on tight for the long awaited rise. Rgds Pal
