Yakee, Everybody should constantly re-evaluate their investments. The best way to do this, imo, is to ask yourself, if you were not already invested in BPC would you invest in BPC now. If not, then they should sell. No one likes to sell at a loss, but if people no longer believe in the company or the management or it's future, then they need to back themselves and sell out, otherwise their credibility is a bit suspect.

You need to understand this has new investors now and they would have done their due diligence and made sure that profits would be feasible before parting with their money.

Can you not see a mine producing 8k tonnes of coal at $10-20 profit a tonne is actually quite good. It's gone from a company going into administration to a company producing cash. The only risk is will the plant operate at the levels it's been tested at. If the designed tweaks have been done right then it won't be a problem especially as the coal will be coming from the Northern mine.

EDL have not got financial backing for the Power Station. Synohydro are their JV partner and it says in the RNS "The Directors believe an integrated approach to development of the coal-to-power project in parallel with the roll out of electricity transmission infrastructure in the region is the preferred route forward."
This prob means Synohydro taking over the mine which has a NPV of $252m and guaranteeing the project for EDL to supply the coal. In return Synohydro get the contract to build the power station. Kibo had to come up with $900m of debt finance for Tanesco to grant them qualification and their backing.
