er no Dave. PCR comes after someone fails the LFT. LFT's are a general indicator hence they are the least reliable test. Without PCR the economy won't be going anywhere.

The virus is going to be with us forever. The vaccines need to get ahead of it. Until they do testing will be needed. We are already seeing cases of the D variant doubling in the population that was considered the most resilient but who also do the most mixing. The 21st was likely to be delayed and its looking like it will be. You just need to stick your head out of the window to see how densley people pack themselves when they are given a small amount of remit to do so. Testing wont be going away. even if the virus dissappeared testing would need to continue to make sure it has gone and a new variant doesn't pop up and catch us off guard - it only takes a few cases and we go all over again.

Further lockdowns are looking less likely but restrictions will come and go until the risk to life is outweighed by the risk to economy etc.

Re GDR my money is on BC sales (this is what they do), and the AIHL test.
50/50 on the POC but if it does arrive this month then yes, we're there SP wise
EU deal. Can't see it but with Innova coming off the table looks better than it did
HCV - on the supply chain for Unicef to use. GDR have sold a lot of these in the past.
DOD - can't gauge it if i'm honest
India - ICMR clinical validation came just days after ICMR approval which suggests they want the test. Also assume there is a lot of regulatory tape to cut through in India, which is probably slow, and what is probably haulting sales. I think we will get some but margins will be low. Low margin at high volume still works and we have the manufacturing capability to supply high volume. The test can be used manually (without the automation machines) so Indian labs can use them manually if thats easier/cheaper, albeit slower less reliable.

I think the win will come from BC sales and AIHL. As we know we dont have anyway to know how sales are going. We know they are selling the antigen and antibody tests, one of which they have just fully automated despite not having an EUA. We also know the hype and confidence that went behind the initial lauch in Feb. The presentation was only 4 weeks later. Some jumped the gun thinking the tests would hit the ground running, they didn't in those particular 4 weeks but nothing to say they havent in the last 3 months. Remenber just 1000 packs gives GDR £10m in reveune. 1000 packs averages out 300 a month. Just an example on what i'd say is a small amount of packs given the number of labs serviced by BC and a further number that might be interested. If we knew sales were even trickling in the SP would be much higher as confidence and sentiment would be much higher. Getting that call right is where the money is made/lost.

They will need to do all the import stuff as well which I imagine is a nightmare when dealing with India. Thats why i'm not chasing AVCT cause it will be a while before they get product into country. MC approaching 700m. I don't think theyve sold anything have they? CEO's are cashing in to buy houses and stuff but better dialogue in general. GDR is more of a wait and see followed by a pop kinda stock with it's 38m MC.

Lots of good stuff. Think BC sales are key, POC on time would do it. The good news is that anything other than a diabolical RNS will send this up. I'm not sure who would be selling down here. Any PI's must be well under and cutting losses. Each to their own but they'll have to dry up eventually. Volume a little better today but those 1-2p daily drops have occured on extremely low volume. Next 3 weeks critcal. Hopefully see a quartely update to put us out of our misery one way or another.

I do recall how bad some were doing when the SP was at 40p. Similar with a couple of posters now. The relief of it all is welcomed. AVCT has recovered a bit today by its market cap is humongous

The guy's a broken record. His 'big' account has been hit hard and his way of recovering that is monopolising this bored hourly with the same negative comments. It's like being stuck in a cheap horror movie with bad dialogue. The Titanic comment below was spot on.

Well I've pinged an email across for some inside information so I don't have to read between the lines anymore. Hopefully they will give me exact sales, cash forecasts, any pending take over deals, the exact launch date of the POC and AIHL so I can buy and sell the stock perfectly, and lots of other insider stuff to make my investment decisions on. Hopefully I'll get it all by 10am as we are already blue.

We are in new order cycles now so I expect we probably have made some sales. No way to know either way for sure. I think shareholders can request to see the quarterly reports if an official announcement isn't made, which I don't think they need to do (end of the trading year are compulsory).

The company has denied the need to place. It could be they are lying but I think too many emails on record to be lying. All this sudden talk of placing is mute quite frankly since the question has been asked and all these expert opinions on the placing price are also daft given I suspect there is little understanding of how a placing works. It could be sales across the range of products are generating enough for Genedrive not to place, and hence why they have said they do not need to place. Anyone consider that? Clarity on the Unicef contracts would be nice. Expecting the sales numbers before the end of the 1/4 is probably optimistic as well.

Yep, factory to scale up to produce 10's of millions of LFT's to distribute to 53 countries to be followed up with PCR tests from other suppliers if found to test positive. Guess the unreliable LFT's are getting phased out finally and replaced with UK standard. It's great vaccines are having a positive effect but we haven't been out of lockdown long and cases are already doubling up with the 21st June opening already under massive scrutiny and pressure. People are de-sensitised to it all now, taking lots of risks or don't have the comprehension to understand etc. Global testing is at its highest with a large part of it still uncatered for.

Yea, definitely not falling for that line again haha. In fairness lots of positive statements came out over that period including one from BC Life sciences CEO. As investors (traders more like) we may have got ahead of ourselves on that one and, dare I say it, read a bit more into it than we should have. We know we won't hear on sales until Beckman is ready to give them. What would have been nice is to have seen a 'further shipment' RNS or something, but that would get people speculation on sales which BC may not want. Also I'm convinced GDR think it's not on AIM.

The market was wrong at 165p when it thought we were selling loads, so do we assume the market is correct at 64p?? How does that make sense? Like I said walking hypocrite. How much has been invested in the R&D of those tests now at the commercial level? I'd say the £40m is well justified. With your comments and astounding lightning speed hate for this stock, there is absolutely no way you are invested Jac.

No one knows what, if any, sales have been made. But we do know they are being retailed in 10x96 plates for $24.000. GDR get £10 a test from the last know numbers, so just under £10k a box. So if Beckman have sold:

0 = £0 to GDR (for Jac etc.)
1 = £10k to GDR
10 =£100k
100 = £1m
1000 = £10m
etc.

Given BC ramped up production to sell 30m antigen tests a month just 3 months into the pandemic and have automated since, I don't think a decent return is a far fetched as some people may think/imply on the PCR front. I no longer like to read between the lines, as why speculate when we are given so much official information so regularly to utilise and form opinion, but I do know BC have hundreds of labs on the books so unit sales relative to market cap don't need to be in the millions, infact far from it.

GDR's market cap is c£40m. Multiple distribution partnershps, marketed HCV test with apparent purchase contracts, World first hearing test (AIHL), DOD contract with product development paid for by the DOD and hopfully the upcoming POC saliva test later this moth. If sentiment wasn't nailed so low the speculation would have driven this much higher. Those worried about a placing, which has already be stated not to be happening despite a very disgruntled investor pushing that panic button on twitter, even if it did happen to fund all these tests into commercialisation - whats the big deal? Yes use it as an excuse to spead fear and hope you catch a lower entry but if, as stated that doesnt happen, then all you need to do is wait. And respectfully to all positions and tactics here, none of us would be present at a loss or in profit if we didnt think there was more to come. Those knocking the stock are walking hypocrites if they are here thinking they are going to lose more.
