Hope I'm surprised with some continuing Buy action and then some news released. There should be some good reason or else surely Mgmt would have been compelled to release 'we know no reason for the sudden rise' RNS yesterday.
(M here) ??
Propinquity, not sure what value we’d hit with the license but surely over a penny?
Aside :
“The propinquity effect is the tendency for people to form friendships or romantic relationships with those whom they encounter often, forming a bond between subject and friend.“ Thonk that’s the basis for Love Island
That’s what I say, can’t be anything bad about putting money where your mouth is. Having the BoD with massive skin in the game means this share is one of the safest on Aim imo.
About time we heard the true Q2 figures from Kapan and if they are going to do ‘1 or 2’ acquisitions this year, they must be well down the road.
Brilliant share, brilliant BoD, how many Aim shares are people in profit in? This must be one of them for lth’s surely. Been plenty of opportunities to average down, my first purchase was at 64p !
The mm’s certainly don’t seem to have this share figured out. Their advertised spread of around 20% is surely off-putting to getting things moving even if the real spread is much less.
Seems there was some largish sells the other day too, £7k and £3.5k etc.
Anyway, if I get any more cash, it’s going in here
One can never stake one’s entire fortune on opportunities like this imo. When ‘Proponquity’ said it’d get pulled by 31/7, I thought he meant the whole distribution thing (not the opportunity). But you can’t be certain that we will all double our money : Togo could go upon smoke; CAI might run into trouble; CAI sp might bomb when we get our distribution. All these things could affect our future wealth, but hopefully not.
I've posted this before and these were worked out @ sp's of o.4p for KRS and AUD$0.03 for CAI with exchange rate of approx AUD$1 = 56p
NEW STATS :
723,750,000 CAI shares coming our way on positive PFS
2289m KRS shares exist
So dividing up, one needs 3.1627 KRS shares to merit 1 CAI share
So 1m KRS shares gets one 316,186 CAI shares
Current costs and values : 1m KRS costs about £4,000
316,186 CAI are worth@ AUS$0.03 about AUD9486 = £5,295

These figures were ratified by Dave Reeves
My bet is that the cut-off 'Record Date' will be announced at 7 am one day as, 'last night at 4:30pm', ie it's just happened folks. However, if they really want a stampede of buying up to a 'Record Date' they could announce one for the future. They definitely would not announce one, 'Oh, by the way, it was 3-weeks ago', that would be tantamount to being illegal, letting shares trade 'ex-dividend' when they were not advertised as such.

Blimey Charlie, things have just got a lot better with the CAI price and the exchange rate. So, not only does one get a £1,295 profit through the CAI shares but one keeps the KRS shares that look like finally being worth something in Togo.
Trouble is this is AIM, if something can go wrong, it probably will.
I think the £15m limit to value of CAI shares that can be distributed is down to the maximum capital reduction that KRS can make. It is through this capital reduction(in the courts) that the distribution is made possible. There is a limit to how much you can reduce the capital of KRS I suppose
Bassguy, no, I'm not sure what the tax implications are to us personally. When we receive shares, however many we get, we surely won't personally incur any tax liability, perhaps KRS might.
If we later sell CAI shares there will be brokerage charges which will vary considerably for UK investors, the tax considerations then of any profit made will be personal, I would imagine CGT but you'd be doing well to surpass your annual tax-free limit currently £12,000.

One would need to get the current exchange rate and share price of KRS and CAI to transpose to today, but can't be much out.
Emailed Dave about the CAI shares, whether they'd come out of escrow, etc. He came back with :
"Calidus did announce this, but not as a fanfare as to be honest, the rest of the market would probably see it as an overhang although this is obviously not the case: https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20190611/pdf/445qx1s75f8sb5.pdf
Yes, as per every Calidus announcement, the PFS is due in July.
There will be an announcement before this of the steps Keras is undertaking and still needs to undertake for the distribution prior to this I imagine."
------------------------------------
So, all looking good and expect a KRS announcement on the distribution sometime in July it looks like, probably just before or at the same time as the CAI PFS released.
Not doing so well, needs to attract and incentivise companies like Chaarat I'd say :

So, you've just joined the wonderful ranks of LSE today 'down-to-earth'. What made you do that, might I ask?
You seem to be thankful one moment to the mgmt and cynical and dis-trusting the next.
Anyway, if you've made your decision to exit after many years, why bother posting now?
Should be some decent newsflow in the next week or so, annual results and Kapan guidance.
Ciftay are hard at work for us and yes, they are doing work for which their payment is an investment in Chaarat, seems like a great endorsement from a pretty big company.
