Fair point, but many Institutions/Public bodies may well decide that their duty of care to the public/clients, reasonably necessitates them to continue to provide testing faacilities........School teachers re pupils, Hospitals re patients/visitors, Retirement homes re clients/visitors, Cruise Liners re staff/clients.
Whilst BRH have undoubtedly 'missed the boat,' I earnestly believe that Covid, in one form or another, is NOT over, and IF our test is ever approved, and IS shown to be the most reliable, quickest, and cheapest on the market, we will reap the rewards from our investment. There are a lot of IF's, but maybe it will happen.
Via my trading and ISA accounts, I hold a combined 69,670 BRH shares at an average price of .543p, so I am well underwater. For my part, I will be voting against the proposal as recent actions by the board has led to my total loss of trust in it, and I do not wish to give them any more power than they already have.
If the proposal is approved, we loose ALL control over any use the board deems fit to put those shares to, despite it's dilution to our holdings.
We are an Investment company, let the board prove their mettle by capitalising on the investments we already hold, OR biding their time until such time as those investments can turn a reasonable profit.
The prospect of paying a dividend was raised in the context of selling phasefocus, but that would surely be foolish given the boards desire to stock the arsenal with firepower........ (Lesson to be learned from paying the last special dividend).
The Company said the legal claims were "spurrious," but are about to hand over in excess of US$2 million of share holders assets/money/options to settle.
Sale of Casa was due to complete yesterday, but has apparently not been, but no mention of that in today's RNS.
Given it's relevance to the bigger picture of having disposable cash and reducing costs, Casa surely merits a mention.
Rather than shareholders having to hunt down/eke out information, management need to show some respect and keep shareholders updated. Even at the recent Conference Call, organised by them, for a time of their choosing, the comment was passed that NVS had "to be somewhere else."
Oh dear, seems you can only join 'the club' if you wear rose tinted glasses and post positive things. "Reported to the (thought) police"............."Reported for multiple IDs"........... ONE ID, NO (known) affiliation/connection with any other poster here, or anywhere else.
Hi Turtlewax, in light of ARC's 14th Feb update, extending the Casa deadline to 15th March, it was interesting to see you emphasise the word "MAY" get news on the sale this week.
We can but hope that the deal does finally get over the line as, following NVS's comment at the recent CC, I cannot imagine there being a queue of potential buyers.
Well, only another week to wait before finding out:
(A). If we are finally going to see some financial return from Casa.
(B). If I need to buy another candle to celabrate the Second anniversary of it's proposed sale.
(C). If ARCM needs to seek another buyer.
Who would have thought it would be so difficult to find a buyer for a 3 million ounce inferred resource gold miner?
With respect, I have yet to hear/read that President Zelenskyy has asked the USA/UK to honour this 'assurance,' so make of that what you will.
Whilst the Ukraine surrendered the nuclear capacity it obtained via independence from the USSR, it seems that it never, at any time, had the capacity to actually use the weapons as the firing codes were all tightly held by Moscow.
Whilst making no apologies for the deplorable actions of Russia, might I suggest you read the article by Peter Hitchin in the 5th March issue of the Mail, and also watch the Netflix documentary 'Winter on Fire,' which depicts the evils carried out by the Ukranian authorities, on their own people.
Unfortunately, as ever, it is always the innocent who suffer, but the political elite in the Ukraine are hardly blameless.
Apologies to those of you that came here to read about ARCM.
As ever, the devil is in the detail.
The Ukraine were given NO guarantee's, but rather "security assurances," and given that the precise wording was given some consideration prior to being notorised, one must draw one's own conclusions as to precisely what was offered/promised/expected.
In addition, that the Ukraine apparently received $2.5 billion of Russian debt relief, and assurances of continued gas supplies in return for surrendering it's nuclear arsenal, must also be taken into account.
Of Course you do.
On Tuesday 22nd 14:41, you posted.
I'm staying out of this tit for tat, but the last post from livedata seems to have come from nowhere ...
Did outofluck post from a different account by mistake?
I'm lost in all this argument. Just let them post as being defensive and calling them out is making it worse from what I can see?

The above was your rersponse to this post by Live Data @14:30 My point has been proven, Paranoia
I am not in any way associated with Ella. He/him clearly has an agenda but on occasions they do raise legitimate questions - shame they ruin it with some of the other guff.
If you want to waste your time trawling through my lse chat history - go ahead.
And I made a nice 5 figure sum from ODX as I didn't get greedy like most and exited early.
IF, as you suggested, I had posted from a different account, how comes Fulmar 29 mockingly posted the following on Tues 22nd @ 14:09: "I do love a story with a happy ending. Job sorted OOL you now have a superb source of information via LD. Perhaps exchange emails so no-one can glean the vital nuggets you exchange.Perhaps it's better not to ask about ODX though !
Paranoia .................about anybody posting/asking anything that is deemed negative.
Yet you have so much 'faith' in the company, my legitimate questions apparently 'place the seed of doubt,' in a company we both, apparently invested in?
I accept that I am a poor investor, both in judgement and consequently, financially, but I am no liar.
Are you suggesting that my investment in ARCM is a poor one?
I was happy to purchase 100k on the 25/08/21 for £3,772.99 because I had sold 100k on 04/05/21 for £6,071.01, (needed funds). I also sold 76,867 Arcm on 05/05/21 for £4,763.69, and subsequently purchased 100k on 25/06/21 for £5,193.99. ......You can do the sums, but I cleared £2,940.15 profit on the sales, reinvested most of the money, increased my holding, and lowered my average in the process. We still had the sale of Casa to look forward to, and we were still in talks with interested parties, what was not to like?
Why? Because shareholders had been assured that the legal claims against the company were "Spurious," "without merit," and "our case is extremely strong and we have full confidence in the Zambian judiciary system.".............Not enougth confidence to TEST the evidence though.
Sad isn't it, relying upon a bulletin board for news, but be honest, how many times have YOU been made aware, via bulletin boards/newspaper articles, of developments within a company before the company has deemed fit to make an official announcement?
For the record, I AM a shareholder, here to make a profit from my very real investment, and IF SeisNav provides a secure method to provide him/her with that proof, they can share it with you and everybody else.
Tell me, how does one provide proof, to your satisfaction, without compromising my own financial security? IF you provide a SAFE means to do so, I will give full consideration to your request, meanwhile, we can all sit at our keyboards slinging mud at those with an opposing viewpoint.....I await your practical/safe suggestion.
