RE: Could this do an SWC ?22 Jun 2025 03:31
It’s an unprecedented environment and with Btc anticipated to hit 150-200k mark this year there’s no reason why it would end, I suspect over the coming months there will be more and more companies opting for the strategy with investors from across the pond piling in. the benefits of holding crypto assets in an isa account will continue to offer significant incentive as well as the proven mstr strategy - competitors easily raising money at significant premiums or at market prices from institutions suggests there is merit in these strategies and that it’s still at an early phase, I suspect the likes of swc will hit the several billion mcaps and coin to also hit a billion at some point
Vult has already jumped into a top 3-4 play behind swc and coin in terms of execution and only at a fraction of the top 2 mcap at only 10m or so (ie there are several who have implemented strategies but have yet to raise or make purchases ie AMOI and several others) where as Vult has gone ahead even before receiving their placing funds on Monday)
Further not only has it implemented the only eth treasury (of which a USA equivalent hit 7bn mcap peak during the rush) it has also shrewdly hedged with btc. The eth and alt coin market is due a breakout at some point but almost irrelevant at this point and probably at the benefit of Vult due to the low price to purchase at
Not only that but the significant volumes at the end of last week (I’ve never seen so many buy prints vs sells, suggesting some sort of placing overhang that’s clearing due to the price creep up) with only a fraction of brokers offering trades suggests there will be significant demand when several others come online . Having looked at early stage SWC (when they converted business, to the aggressive strategy laid out and quick execution) this feels eerily similar, and I would not be surprised to see at least £500m mcap being hit over the next several weeks.
Unfortunately for me I need to wait until HL come online next week before I enter due to my isa being there but hopefully the market waits around a bit, so in short …..worth a punt indeed
All IMO
