MTO , well the candles are saying no as it dropped right back down gain today but i don't know anything about the fundamentals re the contract............. Gold is trying to push up but hasn't broke resistance yet

Yes your right just step back and wait for some confirmation for both of us . Ive got a few ideas but nothing concrete. GA could drop down to 1.79365 area to complete a nice H&S on the daily......... if it breaks north to 1.80502 then that would invalidate it though

Hi Task you are right about the chart that's all there is . Its how we read is, the problem ! I lost my winning and more trying to trade around the pivot and SI on the 5 min . Note to self don't trade around similar again. leave the market and wait for it to break one way or the other................. And it did but by this time i wasn't in it ..... Fortunately i got it all back and and bit more at 16.32 when it dropped like a stone. Volumes dried up a bit now so logging off .

Hi Task didn't get on until 2 20 ish and just seen your post .. Hope thing improve for you . On Friday afternoon i had a good session trading the dax then at 5.15 ish when i should have quit i thought ill just go for a bit more ..should have known better low volumes and freaky Friday ...So i gave it all back to the market and a bit amore too!! Ive been trying to scalp the Dax again just now and am up about £40 so just a £1 a point so not too bad so far . That Nikkie can be difficult to trade its caught me out a few time and it cant half move against quickly when you least expect it

X/O no problems Task apart from not as you say having open ended funds . The P/ F during the day doesn't appear to update very quickly but if you press F5 on your computer then it does ....Customer service is fine always very pleasant and super efficient. If you are having problems paying in they will take it over the phone of your card. Plus they will place an order direct for you ( on the phone) if there are any platform issues EG like you lock you self out of your account.
You can have two accounts ISA and a nominee ( plus i think a fantasy account) that ive never had

Oh and out of interest I've tried them out. Half the time it often works out best taking the opposite side of sentiment.
The only ones that usually almost guarantee is if they are at least 90% to 95% Like if 98% are bullish on bitcoin i wouldn't go short

Hi Task so you had a 5 pip stop on it, so if it had moved 5 pips the wrong way you would have lost £500. and slippage. blimey you certainly are a risk taker but it paid off so congrats on that trade.. Sentiment indicator do you have a spread bet account with IG they have a client sentiment indicator. Its tricky to find . Come November and Croda a change of mind ( life is always in a state of flux in my view) the 5 year chemical contract for Croda and Pfizer re their 90% success vaccine news swayed me to dip my toe in.

ive had a rubbish day my computer locked up again and i lost £100 got 20 back but my mind was unsettled and nothing worked for me after that. I was on edge waiting for another freeze up . Ive bought some software' now to hopefully fix it .
I was running a short on the ftse when it happened ... also got stung for ftse 100 dividend payment ive not had that happen to me before...............
