It's a horrendous exchange rate for an Australian company doing business in Brazil isn't it ?
Have you seen how cheap IR thermometers are on ebay ? You can even get a thermal imaging attachment for the iPhone

Click on the thing and enter a number I think?
What do I click on after http://www.anm.gov.br ?
It still looks like a lobster pot when trying to sell via Barclays S.I. :
Barclays : 'Your quote request cannot be processed, please retry.'
No problem buying thousands though.
Always nice to have impartial opinions on the bulletin boards
Well the fact is that at Barclays you need a limit order to try to buy any more than 75,000 shares. You also need a limit order if you want to sell 1 or more shares.
I tried a Limit order today to buy 10,000 shares at 3.60 like the other chunky 'buys'. The order sat there for an hour, with no luck. Nothing. So who is successfully buying or unloading at the mid-price?
Just read the news in English for the first time. I didn't realise it was such a serious situation out there, with more rain on the way apparently.
It looks like they have thunder lightning and heavy rain for today and for tomorrow and for Sunday and Monday and Tuesday. But apart from that..... There are probably some plastic bags to cover up the fertil, and a lot of it will be inside anyway. Wouldn't the dirt track to the mine be the biggest problem? 20 lorries a day on that dirt track in heavy rain ? Impossible.
The mine site is safely up at 1000m, and there's nothing much in the news for that area. Lots of issues much further east and lower down on the Rio-Doce though. From the helicopter it looks like every street is underwater on the river-island. Which reminds me of my HMI shares. At least the swimming pool has escaped the sludge-water: www.youtube.com/watch?v=a88Ewz18lnQ
Is 5.5 a definite actual bid yet ?
Clear enough Geo situation isn't it? Owing 34m with most of their sales staff 'acquired', not much future there is there ?
It must have been worth the voyage from Brazil and from the United Kingdom. Do we know how many shareholder/s attended in Australia ?
RNS: 'The Company announces that the resolution put forward at its Annual General Meeting held earlier today, as set out in the formal Notice of Annual General Meeting dated 26 October 2018, was duly approved by shareholders.'
Fingers crossed for lunch tomorrow. Maybe someone will spill the beans ? Wouldn't it be more convenient to have the investor presentation lunch in Australia ? That way it wouldn't be too far to go for the AGM
"My guess is for modest net profits this year"
Good to see that people still have a good sense of humour here.
What are the odds on finding a local soil that lacks 0/0/0 ? I imagine that in a place where roads are installed at 90 degrees to cattle-grids, anything is possible. Looking forward to good news.
Why does everyone keep saying fertiliser? The product here is soil-remineraliser
