I rarely post on the forum but man alive, one2one, bigging up your job and posting hourly rates of pay for it. Each to their own but for me, everything you do work wise sounds like hell. Even at the rates you’ve quoted, it’s not for me. It must be pretty tedious right? I’m glad I’ve a more interesting job than that.

With regards to Hemo. What will be will be. They’ll either make us money or they won’t. Hopefully they succeed for the patients and as a consequence, us investors do as well.

Still would prefer to go for a pint with Mickey and JHFH. Probably wouldn’t even talk about Hemo, just have a few drinks and a laugh.

It’s not panic I can assure you that. I’ve kept a portion of my holding which will make a significant return IF things pan out yet I’ve reduced my overall risk

Been in this about 4 years. Sorry to say I’ve sold a large portion of my holding on todays news at a significant loss. Wanted it to work out but as others have said, the trust for me has gone. I hope it comes good for the sake of the patients.

I’d rather go for a pint with Micky though.

I agree with you JHFH. The point I was trying to make is that he’s so focussed on delivering the products and making Hemo a billion pound company that he may pass up very decent opportunities to secure the future development of all the product portfolio.

The worry that he’d dismiss out of hand any thoughts of a takeover if it doesn’t match his own valuation of the business.

That has been my fear. He won’t sell up as he has billions in his mind. If that’s the case, his stubbornness is a big risk. If an offer of 50p a share was made, would he accept? I’m not sure he would.

I’m happy all the time. No matter the chat on here or the share price. I’ve invested to maybe cure people who would otherwise not live out their lives.

A deal has been reached in principle between BALPA and BA/IAG. It will be put to the vote and BALPA are recommending the pilots accept

Surely the same arguement applies for 777, 787 and 350 though right? Even the 380 are all serviceable. All those types are in the business plan moving forward. The 747 aren’t

Absolutely. Which is why a morning Frankfurt and afternoon Madrid will be used to get sectors in before getting long haul flights back December.

Just as an aside. The flight crew will also still be current in SEP and recurrent sim checks but will need training similar to if you’d been off long term sick before being allowed back flying. Will only be maybe one sim plus an actual flight with a trainer

@D9Ber1 To answer your original question about bringing the remaining 380 back sooner. As the entire fleet has been stood down, they world need to factor in an entry into service training schedule to bring all aspects back. Some of which will be being planned now for the reintroduction of hulls next month. With only one 380 sim available it would be difficult to bring further hulls back sooner (Pre Christmas) purely on the training restrictions alone.

I’m certain BA flights still operate in and out of T7. It’s the American Airlines operated “BA” flights that use T8 which as you said, can handle the 380 although AA don’t have any

The airport itself can handle a 380 but terminal 7 (the BA terminal) doesn’t have any stands suitable to park at. If BA were to bring a 380 here, which they haven’t done yet, the plane would be parked at terminal 4. Not ideal to be honest which is why they don’t use it on this route

Agreed. Sounded positive. Think the key thing I took from it was, as Vlad said, patience. These things take time. Time to develop, time to manufacture, time to run trials and time to negotiate. Announcements will be made when there is something to say. The financing arrangement is what it is unfortunately.
