The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
6 weeks prior to the placing is 22 October. Out of interest, which H&N posts telling people to buy are you referring to Misty? I can only see 2 posts from H&N on WSG in that time period from 22 Oct - 3 Dec and neither appear to be doing what you are suggesting.

"Excellent post Mike. Only caveat is the strong chance the airport gets closed again in this second wave. The alternative is Covid testing and/or a Covid passport.
I would imagine their Covid related sales enquiries have been going mad in recent weeks. It's going to be a very tough few months this second wave. Businesses of all descriptions are going to need Covid protection kit to keep their customers as safe as possible. The increase in sales staff at Westminster speaks volumes.
In the mean time, I can't see the market taking much notice of WSG unless it pulls some kind of 'rabbit out of the hat' in the way of company changing news. That would be a miracle in these days of quarantine related travel.
I wait, knowing the company is making good coin, is weathering these Covid times in good shape.
Company has enjoyed 5 years of double digit revenue growth, even during Covid, is EBITDA positive and is making a net profit to boot. Patience will be rewarded."

"Trolls don't like to be trolled master baker"
The first of those actually appears to me to be pointing out the downsides more than the upsides.
The comments "the strong chance the airport gets closed again in this second wave" and "In the mean time, I can't see the market taking much notice of WSG unless it pulls some kind of 'rabbit out of the hat' in the way of company changing news. That would be a miracle in these days of quarantine related travel." hardly appear to be telling people to rush out and buy WSG shares. Both posts were also marked 'no opinion' .
I suppose Phil will tell us they’ve signed this deal because no one is ordering stuff from abroad and they are going to just sail empty ships across the Atlantic for fun.

MPS TERMINAL 3 NAMED KEY PORT IN NEW CMA-CGM SOUTH AMERICA - WEST AFRICA (SAMWAF) SERVICE
Meridian Port Services Limited, MPS Terminal 3, has been selected as a key port in a newly upgraded service to West Africa being pioneered by the French Shipping Giant, CMA CGM. The SAMWAF Service will establish a direct link between Brazil, South America and West Africa with Durban, Cape Town and Luanda in the loop. The service is expected to discharge and load both gateway and transhipment volumes.
By this, Tema Port has been chosen to be a transhipment hub extending the connectivity of Tema’s Terminal 3 with the South American trade to Benin and Nigeria (Cotonou and Lagos).
The first vessel on this service is the GH LESTE with voyage 04K83E1MA which loaded in Brazil at the Ports of Paranaguá, Itajai and Santos and currently en route to the port of Durban and expected to arrive in Tema by 5th March 2021.

Ah - so now its only virtually all travel in and out of the country, I thought you said it was all travel? Which of course was wrong as I pointed out, but at least you're beginning to see the error of your ways now. You'll get there in the end Phil.
Ahhh Phil admires me, how sweet
Do you understand what circumstantial means Phil?
And if you have no interest in any research on this share nor interest in investing in it, why do you spend so many hours of your life on here?
And Phil wins!!
As I said it is circumstantial and you need to make up your own minds. But those are all external links to WSG.
Mike there was 2 * border crossings in Africa on the list of pipeline deals in the 3 Dec RNS
It isn’t the best but you should find it with those links I provided. I think if you click on each continent it takes you to countries from memory.
I’ll leave you all to ponder on this one for a while shall I? I wonder which multi ID will be first to pour scorn all over it?
Happy days!! :-)
And we know the U.K. Gov has been keen to improve security there
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uk-presents-security-equipment-to-uganda-civil-aviation-authority
Maybe, just maybe, the 20 January 2016 RNS which stated “Westminster Aviation Security Services ('WASS'), has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a new government client for the provision of long term (up to 25 years) aviation security services at several international airports within the country concerned.” could possibly be related? And that all those old MOUs which many have written off, aren’t really dead after all?
Obviously none of this confirms the location of the advanced deal for five airports in an African country that has been mentioned, it’s all circumstantial, but it certainly is something to think about, don’t you think? There are certainly other locations that could equally fit the five airport description (I’m quite confident we are working on deals for some of them too) so it may not be Uganda. But if it is, whilst I suspect the other 4 airports are relatively small Entebbe however had PAX of 2m in 2019. This would therefore be a huge win for WSG as that is I believe around 8 times the PAX of Lunghi in a non-COVID world.
Wikipedia also highlights that there are just five airports that have scheduled passenger services on commercial airlines.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airports_in_Uganda
Back in October 2019, Uganda also offered airport security out for tender. Interesting that it states “Entebbe International Airport and 13 domestic Aerodromes, FIVE of which are designated as entry and exit points...”

Now then, here is where it starts to get interesting. Part of the first floor at the new terminal extension was opened early at the end of November 2020 in order to facilitate social distancing. That is to say, it wasn’t at that stage complete, but it was clearly very nearly ready!

So, given this, it appears that WSG has a very good relationship with AKSA. That prompted the question, where else are AKSA involved? Well, it seems that they have also been heavily involved in Uganda’s new terminal at Entebbe airport since signing an MOU way back in 2011.

What I didn’t realise until recently was that AKSA were also heavily involved at Tema as well.

I have no idea whether I’m taking 2+2 and getting 5, or whether the answer really is 4. You will have to make up your own mind. ?
We’ve known for sometime that WSG was at one stage (maybe still are) involved with AKSA in relation to security at Zambia’s Lusaka airport

Top of the class MB. Want to know why I posed that question?
No good effort. That was a year later. In the one I’m thinking of he played the role of an Israeli Brig Gen.
