I did exactly the same except I sold most of my holding here and put it into ALBA. Managed to recover all my losses and have left a comparatively small amount here for trading. Just waiting now for some good news....

Well done on your decision to rid yourself of the mortgage. Now as you say you are queen of your castle and it cannot be taken away. It also frees up your mortgage payments to either reinvest every month or simply have a great time.

Paid mine off 6 years ago. The relief when you make that payment is a fantastic feeling. I used to look at the house and divide up how much was mine and how much was the banks. Now I look and can only see mine. No matter what happens with my investments now, I still have a roof over my head.

Do prim still own their shares in GGP. Not been around this share for a while so don't know if I have missed anything.

I actually started to do some calculations last night on how much I would need to invest to being my average down so I could somehow recoup some of my losses when I suddenly thought what the hell am I doing. I've lost enough to this share. No more.
Good luck to the investors but I'm not putting in another penny...

So a couple of sells worth less than £1500 send the sp down by over 12%.... with a spread of 28% mm's really know what they are doing eh.

Quite agree with you. I'm happy the price is sliding a little occasionally and the up a couple of points. Gives me the opportunity for a few little top ups. Building a nice little pot ready for next year.

The problem as I see it is we are funding lots of projects but we dont appear to be adding "substantive growth". Not to worry, I'm only down 85%.

Wow 10% up. Still not able to trade due to the spread.... have basically written my shares off. I would need £1.05 just to break even and with what I suspect is going to be more dilution there's not a chance in hell that would happen. All my own opinion.

Some one earlier said ( Candid I think) that we are only at stage 2 with NC. I believe we are at stage 3 as per RNS 1st April 2020.

But with a spread of 20% that's hardly going to encourage much trading. Greedy MM's in my opinion.

I initially didnt realise about the CGT until almost too late as the profit I had made on this share was approaching 12k. I simply did a bed and isa which cost about £25 roughly. If you think about how much 2 trades would cost and deduct this from £25 how much would really be saved by doing your own sell and buy. How much could the share price move in the time it takes for the funds to be in the account ready for the buyback. Then not forgetting there is more lost time because the funds need to be transferred into an isa before the buy. For me this a no brainer. This is not advice but just how I thought it through. Atb

Just had a little top up. It is indicated as a sell. Looking at the other trades I would say about 50% are probably buys to. Aimho.
