Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Maybe I should also emphasise the last words
"... current exploration programme, TE-11."
I must admit that I was wondering about this statement in the latest RNS.
"The rig at TE-10 has now been demobilised and is stacked at the TE-10 rig site on a reduced standby rate, awaiting drilling of the next, and final, well in Sound Energy's current exploration programme, TE-11."
Hi Blueskier - Seen you post on another site. Just wishing you all the best here as I believe you work for RPC.
The latest RNS states "with an average porosity of 8%". For those of you with more knowledge than me on this subject, how accurate would that statement be and how much is it likely to deviate from 8%?
My little knowledge leads me to believe that even if the permeability is low, with a porosity of 8%, the feasibility of retrieving commercial gas is very promising.
Whilst I am sure we would all like TE10 to produce commercial gas, even if it doesn't, surely it does not mean that TE10 is a failure. In my mind TE10 is already successful, albeit not fully accomplished, yet. Results may affect the SP in the short term but in the long term it's good news. The gas is down there, it just needs the right company to make us an offer and then get the gas out.
Schlumberger would surely have walked before now if they weren't confident of the eventual outcome here.
Jordan - Thank you. Obviously the brain not working.
Yoghurt - I know I should be able to find the deep dive presentation but could you put me in the right direction please, I must need new glasses.
Someone calling me a Granny? ;-)
But if it's not a duster, and if it turns out to not be commercial, isn't it the case that it is still a positive to prove the basin model?
I hope JP and the BOD know too!
Or is JP God?
Thanks to all for a good read today.
Mancave - Many thanks for your posts today. I am sure most readers would agree that they are off to bed more excited than they were last night. I don't think anyone will be counting sheep, just wonderful Dreams in the Desert which surely will become more than dreams.
Jacklevi - When this all comes to fruition I don't think you will need to worry any more about "vets bills".
Just my thoughts. Not ramping. Just getting excited but trying to keep my feet on the ground at the same time, (with difficulty).
Have a good night all.
Albus - Exactly the same thing I'm thinking.
I wonder how many holders still require above, say, 60p to break even. A difficult time for many but I am feeling confident, although edgy. Good luck to all - I'm hoping we get in excess of £1 to wipe out any losses for everyone.
I have learnt a lot from reading this BB over the years and would like to thank you all for your input.
I would like to raise the importance of the 8% porosity because I have only just realised its importance myself. I believe the following should give a better insight to some but understand that many will already know this. There may be better links out there but this is all I have at the moment.

Eric - Understand. Thank you.
Sorry didn't mean to be insistent.
Eric - Your knowledge of the MM's, share price, buys and sells, etc are well beyond me and will most probably stay that way, can you suggest something/s I can read to educate myself, even if just a little?

Question
Afternoon guys. Seeing as though the GSA is critical to valuing this company. What % chance in your opinion, is there of having this completed by the end of the year and if it isn't completed, would that be seen as a failure in your eyes? Thanks
Answer
James Parsons (Chief Executive)
I understand the many questions here on GSA. My role here is to maximise our chances of a great GSA outcome. I am not very sensitive to the timing. I appreciate not every investor agrees with me on this but that is my position.
