Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
How bloody patronising
This should be an open space where people feel comfortable to ask questions to help them grow their financial knowledge. Not one where they’re made to feel stupid for not understanding all financial rules
Get over yourself
Thanks all for the reasoned debate and sharing of articles since the FUDers shut up shop at 4pm yesterday (Fools Goldy the exception as always)
Certainly been a tough week to be a THG investor. But nothing has fundamentally changed. It’s a dynamic exciting business playing in broadly growth categories, despite the many retail headwinds. That is why I invested, much more heavily that I should, in the first place. Certainly learnt a lot owning this share and again, appreciate much of the insight shared here.
Enjoy your weekends. One day we’ll look back at this astonished that we were able to buy at 70p
Sounds to me like switch off from constant checking of SP, get back to enjoying our lives for next 8 weeks, and ignore the flim flam
I'll do my best to live by this... whilst watching for the geniuses on here advising us when the SP is about to dip (before the event, not afterwards), so i can sell and then buy more.
Hi MJ. Can you expand in detail on this statement - that's quite a claim.
Be interested to understand your rationale.
thanks

Terrible scenes
Some pretty unpleasant Advfn being highlighted on twitter #thg. Vile racism and sexism
Let’s keep our chat here above this horrible discourse
Enjoy the sunshine everyone
Onwards and upwards
Interesting to see Lord Allan’s paper losses now exceed mine…
Although presumably he’s not contemplating shopping at Asda as us Trotters are having to…
Considering the stock markets today, to still be green is a positive amongst an ocean of red.
I cling to any positives
I don’t believe that’s what AS1 is saying
His post suggests the sp could start to recover to 150p - under its own steam. Not that bids should be accepted for this price
Let’s try and be supportive as well as constructively challenging to each other. (Obv fools goldy is an exception)
Let’s hope this sends good vibrations to the SP
I hope so Steve. I saw it drop below 80p and cheekily bought another £2k worth
What a barsteward that MM is.
Is it because i'm a southerner?
I suspect some of us are beyond saving….
… but stop teasing. What's the chat?
Another weird day in the wonderful world of THG
About to hit 85p. Decision time KBYK
My 200,000 are firmly locked in the virtual safe
Won't be touching them until i can tell Rodney 'we've finally made it, son'
Enough to hit my stops at 82p which I’d forgotten to remove from Friday
Cost me 490 shares and a mini heart attack
Sometimes I think I should have just kept my savings in Santander earning 0.25% #muppet
A lot poorer as well, presumably….
GLA, hoping for a steady and positive week creeping upwards and out of being a penny stock
Don't give him oxygen
Even on a good day Rock the con has to spread his bile.
I'm all for a balanced discussion, but he's just a troll, and an incredibly dull one with it
Go put him in your filter - you'll all feel better for it
We should. Yesterday it almost touched the 60s. 28 hours later it’s around 17% up closing at 83
I’m deeply down but will definitely be enjoying those cold beers on the green later
GLA. Our time will come
My 71p buy yesterday looking good. Although i said that about my 87p back in April (but never about my 230 buy in Dec!)
But, something does feel different with the constant noise around this stock lessoning. Looking forward to it landing on its own two feet and less FUD and less IR own-goals
