How can 2 significant buys in relation to all the sells be manipulation
Did you notice the comment "we are very busy re Blyvoor at the moment" ... I read that as just to keep the spin going a bit longer and to offset today's ****e news.
Yet only a few weeks ago he was "particularly excited with the Haneti JV" .... now a full circle
Not liking those 2 x 600k chunky sells under the bid at the time.
I have reduced to a more comfortable level ... based upon project prospects versus LC / KIBO history
Also, I'm a bit confused of the status of where we are now ... up until recently it was a delayed funding decision due before end of May. Latest interviews, LC is now talking about a DFS and funding being interlinked .. if so how long does a DFS take to out together ? I'm assuming months not weeks ? therefore does not seem like we will have funding news this week and can see an RNS potentially disappointing investors short term who were hoping for a lift in SP this week.
I guess the MiningMaven has a reading population of 1 ... and thats the editors Mum by the looks of action today

Can you guarantee that for all applegarth, thanks
what a crap day
Yes agreed Shareseeker ... although I would have preferred Graham Briggs to have commented on appointment and made a video appearance.
Agreed and I feel Cathal will want to clarify shortly to put an end to excessive expectations.
Perhaps another proactive interview on the way

Not sure we will ever get to 100k let alone 180k IMHO.
Not because it's not possible but happy for trade sale in 18 months to 2 years at multiples of today's SP
I think the board at ALTN are also of the same thinking
Could be the sheep from "Old Mac TW Winnifriths" farm although he advised to sell half around 10p
There is nothing to suggest such moves will happen in ORPH .. it's not creating a wonder drug it a services company that happened to be in the right place at that right time.
Steady as she goes will do me .. a penny or two every week get's us to the same point without the gravity spikes up and down
They are know as "FinnCRAP" from my experience elsewhere so not thrilled
left questions IMHO
Previous RNS said ..
"the JV Partners have agreed to an extension of this deadline to 29 May 2020."
In this interview he seems to waffle on about more studies, DFS and funding all being wrapped up together ??? and then says we hope to have further news for a webcast on 5th June unless COVID sends a curve ball. ??
Good to hear a "Positive Reaction" from lenders and others but we have to take that at face value in terms of what that means as no details provided.
The economics are still very attractive given KAT's mkt cap however I dont like the way the AISC has moved up to $920 from $664 when project was first announced and also funding deadline appears to have been moved twice now ..end of April, end of May and now "maybe some news by 5th June"
Hoding but staying vigilant
The recent loan would not have got away unless they could convince the lenders they had big plans.
Now with the new equipment and more on the way, they seem keen to let the market know things have turnaround.
Ignore the low grades, grades will improve from here, it's all documented and higer grades from stockpiled will now follow. It's well know that the deeper they go the better grades will be achieved.
The very fact that they are now indicating quarterly production reports will now be released is a massive leap of confidence.
Remember they are targeting 100k ounces a year, with a mine life of 9 years given a proven resource of 3.47m ounces.
That is without exploration which should take resources beyond 5m.
I think the London listing is there to faciliate a trade sale at some point, and once they have proved they can continuously ramp up production there will be no shortages of buyers for such a resource and gold prices set to be strong for the foreseable future.
If all goes to plan the sale price will be multiples from here ... I dont see the board selling for less than £200m which is close to 10x time current SP.
Sounds incredible but could even be conservative given those buying today are buying a mine that can deliver 100,000 ounces of gold a year for 9 years. Even 100k alone at an AISC of around $1000 would leave a profit around £100m
Todays market cap of £25m underlines the huge opportunity for today's investors if all goes to plan.
Still a lot of ifs and buts and please DYOR but today's RNS IMHO is a significant development and signifies a change in fortunes...at long last !
Having looked at AAZ many years ago at a similar stage and low SP, but deciding not to risk it, I'm going to have a -3 year sit and hold with this one.
ODR
and now suddenly its $940 ... its a tailings so should be low cost near surface
thanks both but my question was why was the initial guidance given as $664
didn't finish that post ...... I would like to know given these are tailings how they were so significantly off when they first announced this potential deal .
The econcomics versus market cap are excellent and it provides a strong financing and investment case.
For balance, the AISC has gone up nearly 40% from $664 to $920 in the scheme of things with a rising gold price expected, not bad and Iwould think acceptable relative to the industry
