Sharna only sell if you need the money, most PIs lose money because they want to make money quickly instead lose money quickly. Some will load up in these times and bring their average down, have patience and dont panic, realise its only the value thats gone down. Understandably Kroger will want to interrogate data from CFCs 2021 to 2023 especially after inflation, interest rates etc. Ocado is still rolling out ISF in other stores too (and thats not a freebie)! It looks to me very encouraging news so far. Alcampo and Auchan have also stated additional CFCs to be announced at future dates but they will make decisions if its viable and profitable after opening their CFCs July 24 and 2025.

Never rated the guy, saw him arguing with some ex Ocado drivers on a discussion board, thought it was rather unprofessional. Like when picking football players at school, he was never first choice and the rest of the team carries him. He's not useless but not suited for the position. That being said will probably load up again next few days.

Recently Ocado announced that they have added hundreds of Ocado branded products to their range. Do you think they have plans to open their first supermarket 2025/26, possibly even a JV with M&S. It seems the next logical step in the evolution of Ocado, they need to adapt, they already have ISF solutions and know the market inside out, why dont they apply that knowledge and experience. Supermarkets can be built in 6 months unlike CFCs 2 to 3 years. Thoughts anyone?

One question i am asking is why have Ocado won one CFC contract in 2 years, this is not good enough. There will be some slack if existing partners dont ask for extra CFCs soon. I am sure that the CFCs will be a good source of income but they are losing momentum, some heads will need to roll in 2025.

Kroger Statement / Increased delivery sales by 18% over last year was led by CFC's.

Kroger also using Ocado as main ISF solution, expect others to be phased out IMO, they are old business model now.

How can they not award more CFC's, as stated this Kroger contract could be a goldmine.

Based on 1 CFC generating an average of £175,000,000 per year what would Ocado expect to earn. They charge a fee, anyone know what this fee is? thanks.

I have been using Ocado since they signed up with Waitrose, no complaints its an excellent service. As VP states there are many other companies out there even couriers/taxis that will shop and deliver for a fee, this is same day delivery and is very convenient for some customers. When I order from Ocado the food is direct from a CFC and therefore the shelf life is much longer than the ISF shopper running round a store not looking at the sell by dates. I also receive a list of the items I ordered and when it expires (in date order) so you can pin to your fridge, the food is also expertly chilled until delivery. The relationship with Kroger is paused pending takeover as hundreds of stores need to be strategically closed, this makes business sense obviously. Their CEO speaks highly of Ocado, business as usual will resume, this partnership could be worth far more than all their contracts put together, retail is only 10% of the business. Been buying and selling in Ocado for years and always enjoy the dips will be topping up again soon but IMO will go lower until results loom ever closer Jan and Feb. Good to listen to positive and negative news and other investors opinions. GL to all, we are here to make money long or short....and yes an Ocado contract is long over due!

Boyo defintley a question at the next shareholder meeting. They are locked into this lease until 2032 so need to negotiate an early release or reuse the space to limit losses.

More concerned with the £20 billion the CFCs are raking in globally, along with the ISF solutions over 1000 to date.SP to drift and no news will continue to fluctuate, if no new contracts are announced then should pick up just before Jan 14th Q4 Trading update and the all important Feb 27th Group FY results....of course just my opinion!

The SP has always been easy to manipulate because of debt, thats why shorters are reducing as soon there will be no debt. Make no doubt I'm in this for Ocado Tech only, M&S is pocket money but they need to announce some new partner contracts soon, they say they are in talks with several possible new partners...stop talking get signing!

Would make sense for Ocado to take over the clothes and hardware divisions.

Since October 2022 MS have plans to close 67 stores over 5 years, thats roughly 1 store per month. So we have another 3 years of store closures which can only be good news for Ocado.

Add into the mix holidays, illness, wellbeing issues, slavery, training, fatigue, toilet and tea breaks and pregnancy

As mentioned by Ocado, wouldn't be surprised it there has been a leak, and how many is several?

Thats impressive, do we know how much each CFC is worth in terms of profit or are Ocado still collating this data.
