just seen your post. never looked at AFD, after a quick glance im very interested. Will have a look tmrw in more detail. Im suspicious about the rise, possible leaked information or bid coming? its quite a quick price correction otherwise. Taken from the last RNS 'This plan envisages construction start up in 2009 with production by end 2010'. RNS before 'Plan calls for construction start-up April 2009 with diamond production early 2011' . though from march and december both imply 09 construction, being 3 months on from april perhaps construction has begun or is finally in motion to begin? For a market cap of £25m (after a 50%) rise, you have to wonder if there is a mining company out there who would like to get there hands on this 'world class' resource. Not got much time to research further tonight, shall do tmrw and post what i think. But an offer for the company of 44p would be double where it was not too long ago and still a bargain for someone. Looking forward to finding out more, thanks for the tip off. Incidently which uranium plays you got? I have PRL, EML and FTE with intentions to get KAH on the next dip should there be one! sound advice. Same intentions as myself. I rode this 1 from 146 last time and didnt cash in, ended up breakin even as it fell. wont make the same mistake twice. would love to see it break £2 and carry forth on to £3 (my true valuation) however i will cash in 1st and monitor for a re-entry point should the chance present itself.. nice addition getting petra, though i see GEMD the better investment. I hope to add petra for 33p, no more or less. if i miss out i miss out but im trying to discipline myself into not rushing into shares. i once owned them from 90p to 115p, sad to see where they are now, and very suprised the saudi group havent seized the day with them after paying 3 times current sp for some! On AMI website RAB Capital Special Situations (Master) Fund Ltd 18,115,188 9.66% http://www.african-minerals.com/Investor_Relations/Shareholder_Information/Shareholding_Analysis/default.aspx?id=636 Fireheart if you could clear this up for me. Just going through some RAB cap investements such as PRL, on shareholdings it tends to say RAB Capital PLC. On AMI is says RAB Capital Special Solutions, is this the RSS you mention? Hope you can clear this up for me. OP

I think your right and expect to see us both get a tidy return. I have found myself buying more and more of shares that i intended to hold long term so now im left with very little for short term trading. Fortunately having a long term hold such as SLV will probably earn me just as much if not more than i would earn from several short termers. Will you be trading any peaks and dips here or just leaving them. I had thought of doing so but im wondering if its worth it and best to just sit on them. Hope you have had a good day? OP

With every good statement it has a rise before and upon the news, then a cooling off period. Next expected announcement is september where i target 18-20p .
