Just walked past some local stores, the Exotic Superstore has a queue of people of Asian descent out of the door down to the car park, the local Waitrose looked as it normally would on a Friday, no queues outside, but the chemists seemed to be making people wait outside as it's a bit tight inside. Whether they're only letting one person in at a time, I don't know it's just a good job it's not precipitating!!

GIT, this is the reply I received from LSE when I asked about the problem.

The technical team are working on the issue to try and stop it from happening as often as it has been. Due to the extremely large increase in trade data we're seeing due to market uncertainty it at times means the delayed feed struggles once the American markets open at 13:30.

According to the LSX website, we are "only" down 7.41% at the moment.

NMH, there's more chance of buying bog/fig rolls than this going up soon. By the way, my mum used to love a fig roll as well, could be a generational thing maybe?

Have just heard on BBC South that Portsmouth Council could call on grounded airline cabin crew to work for the health service as they often have had the training. Now, if i could have a trolley dolly (sexist apologies there) visit on a regular basis with her trays full of miniatures, I would be most thankful.
P.S. Popped my head over the parapet this morning and entered Tescos to top up on a few things. Some aisles were normal and some were like a tornado had ripped through the shelves. Strangely, I've discovered that people in the UK can't live without corned beef, not one can left for Old Muvver.

While struggling to find a good point in all this mayhem, I should be able to shelter the majority of my shares into my ISA. Whether it becomes beneficial later on still remains to be seen. Here's hoping?

The question that's often ask is, how would this generation cope in the event of a world war? Even though the enemy is an unseen but deadly virus rather than bombers and guns, I think we are about to find out....and this time, the Americans, or anyone else, can ride to the rescue, they're fighting the same battle themselves. So people, fix bayonets, and stick it up this fuzzy wuzzy virus...it don't like it up 'em you know!!

GIT, as you know, I am, along with yourself, in the at risk category and have been grateful on many occasions to the respiratory doctors and staff at my hospital. I doubt I have ever met your daughter over the years, but please convey my thanks to her and her fellow staff who will be battling this awful virus for some time to come yet, and all this while still keeping on top of the populations existing medical needs.
Mind you, many more days like today, I might be in need of a cardiac team.

Troa, sorry to disappoint you, but I am literally reading these posts with my non focusing right eye covered so that my left eye can focus on the text. It does make reading and posting awkward to say the least.
