The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Good morning all. Whilst browsing through the app store, I came across a first person shooter game that deliberately uses the word 'Glod' in it's game play. I'm sure us Wreslers had copyright on that word, do you think we could sue, it might be the only way we make any money as things stand?
On the bright side, it's reported that glod might reach $3500 oz at some point. Wouldn't it be excellent to be in a comp that bought a gold discovery to fruition just as the price of Au reached those dizzy heights, must do some research....oh no, I don't have to, I'm already in, yea hah pardners!!
Everyone, thought I'd wake the place up as it's gone 10:00.
Not a lot GIT, just that she has noted my comments and will pass them on. At least there was some acknowledgement this time, perhaps she's been reading this BB for some insight?
Good morning all. At last I have received a reply from Justine to one of my emails, mind you, it came at 22:37 yesterday evening, just as I was nodding off...deliberate, I doubt it, just working late to catch up I reckon....but on the other hand?
P.S. Whist typing this post, I'm getting an ad pop up for Spanish ham, could the nuns or MM be diversifying by any chance?
Absolutely flying today.....ahem!!
Thank you Safety for your view and that's just how I saw it, he says, tongue in cheek. If the now 'fit for purpose' jig and mill is now installed and working as it should have done in the first place, then all we need is a recovery in the price of tungsten concentrate and as GIT says, we'll be doing ok at last.
Good morning all. Just a thought, but seeing that the plant has been running with equipment that's quote 'not fit for purpose', but still producing excellent quantities of tin, when the plant is running as it should, will the tin recovery increase along with greater amounts of tungsten or reduce as a result of the extra W03. Hopefully, we'll get the answer before long, but in the meantime, the tin price is very encouraging and must be keeping the wolf from the door?
And thank you GIT for your kind words.
Thank you dreamy, i can state categorically that i do not send emails daily to Justine or any that i do send are neither rude or abusive. What i have done on a couple of occasions is to copy and paste comments that have been posted on this BB for Justine to get a measure of how LTH's feel about AlmaPR' s handling of Wres's PR in general.
More curious is how Kevin is in a position to say that abusive emails have been sent to Justine, does he have the lady's ear by chance?
Good for you golfpro, I hope Justine replies to you, unlike me? I believe Justine thinks I'm just a time waster now rather than a long term shareholder?
GUG, I agree that's how it is in the real world, but when it comes to MM, quarters can be adjusted to suit as he sees fit, he just has to word it so that he thinks no one has noticed, crafty that Michael.
Good morning Richard, I'm sure you'll still be reading the posts on here whilst downing a coffee in the West Wing, I just hope you'll soon return to us with your usual wit and wisdom?
Thought I'd try an email to Justine on the following....
Good afternoon Justine.
When the October production update release is worded, for the sake of clarity and to dispel any possible misinterpretation, would it be possible (for Michael) to refer to time periods as Q1, Q2 etc. and not his usual ambiguous June quarter type phrases. Most businesses seem to refer to quarters as Q's so why can't Michael?
I would be grateful if you would press him on this point as it causes a fair bit of consternation on the Wres bulletin board.
G.U.G. Holes is the vague connection that I was alluding to. MIB is involved with funerals, you're goingunderground and Willburylover, tenuous I know but that's just mad Old Muvver for you.
Good morning GIT. Strangely enough, my paper loss is currently around 69% as well. There seems to be a bit of volume again this morning but buys and sells are keeping the SP flat at the moment. It would be good to see a blue end to the day though, just to restore a little confidence.
Good morning all. Pouring down in the Shires this morning, all very grey and gloomy. I have noticed recently, that three of our posters seem to have a common link, those being MIB, goingunderground and Willburylover. I do hope they're not forming a company to deal with destitute LTH's in Wres?
Good morning all. GIT, I do hope Richard was only kidding about being hurt, I wouldn't have thought my post would be taken seriously? Anyway, let's see what today brings, hopefully things might return to normal and we'll see a bit of blue and get the view from the West Wing?
Also Richard, we love you....as a mate of course!
Chaps, in my defence, hic, burp, I did include myself in that post as it was i who hosted the disastrous Xmas SP competition, therefore Richard, I was not slurring your good name...unlike my words , burp, hic, belch.....
When the time comes, will you promise, as will I, not to instigate any more guessing games? The notion that anyone can predict quarterly tonnage or Xmas SP figures is a complete fallacy as regards Wres, and no one has even been close to being in the ball park! So if anyone else suggests a guessing game, I'll, I'll, yes I will.....get mad.
