Good afternoon GIT and all the other LTH's. Like you say, still sitting in the background waiting for Q4 update in January. Have been ailed by a chest infection but thankfully not Covid-19. Still awaiting eye op, problem only occurred in March so early days yet, as per new normal. Hope all is good with you, and I'll hopefully catch back up with things in the new year, May 2021 being my 10th anniversary of holding and waiting fof MM to come good.
Whilst trawling thru t'interweb this morning, just by chance, a name from the past came back to haunt me from the late 1990's...Tamaris PLC a former healthcare provider, later to evolve into World Trade Systems PLC. Another debacle which lost me money I had forgotten about. On looking around, I was amazed to see there are posts from this year on ADVFN from holders in WTS who've been hanging on, one for TWENTY TWO YEARS, and only now have been duped by the company. After reading that, I dont think I'll complain about Wres's timeline again!!
Will that be shots of Famous Grouse Safety?
Good morning Stealthy, I'll answer yer, nice to know you're still in the gang as it were!
Just when you thought things were bad because of Covid-19, bleedin' Brexit is back on the news agenda! Back to Covid-19, they say younger people are responsible for the rise in infection levels, so, let's just ship anyone under 50 off to Tristan da Cunha or anywhere remote so us oldies can live in peace....LTH's in Wres excepted!
Seawolf, don't forget Metso were involved in part, therefore it might be their equipment not up to scratch, nor ze Germins? Mind you, they probably caused the steel debacle and we haven't heard anything about compo on that front! Still, this time e next year Rodders!!
I'd just like to echo that sentiment but are we really any the wiser? MM seems to have padded out a few of his previous comments about ore grades and plant defects etc, but I think it will be prudent to push on with longer production shifts as soon as the jig/mill problems are corrected, regardless of the APT price as Wres have no control of that. Good product out = money in, and that's what we desperately need at the moment. Not so worried about the glod but would like to see Regua back on track sooner than later, although I guess that's as much up to Portugal as a country and their handling of Covid-19 for that to happen?
I have emailed my question to Justine but just to let you know that she will be away until 31st August and email is on auto-reply.
Good morning all. I've just received an email from Justine inviting me to pose a question to MM at the Webinar, now, if only I could think of something sensible to ask him...ties, no, drones, no, let me ponder a while!
Good morning all. It seems the boy from Brazil has quickly got on top of the problems at LP and has instigated the appropriate measures to ensure operations continue to improve in line with expectations. As long as Covid-19 keeps its ugly head away from the management and crew down there and operations at Regua commence so that the higher grade ore from there can be crushed then shipped to LP for processing, then I could see Wres being cash positive early in 2021 rather than later, especially if there were to be a bounce in the tungsten market price.
As usual though, nothing can be definite while Covid-19 prevails, let's hope a genuinely effective vaccine becomes available before too much longer and calm the nerves of the population of an entire planet?
Good morning all. I've just noticed that Friday's trade of one share has just been reversed, perhaps a disgruntled day trader has decided over the weekend they don't want to be in this anymore? Just no pleasing some people!!
Assuming MM is in Oz, I'm thinking that if he lives in Victoria state, he will be in lockdown until further notice, which would leave Pedro in charge on site but directed by MM by video link. I'm also convinced looking at MM in the Proactive interviews, he has quietly been affected by Covid-19 to some degree as he doesn't seem 100% to me? Would he make it known if he had..."Look, it's only Goldilocks syndrome, nothing to report really". Always a possibility at the moment, sadly!
Good morning all. Dreamy might argue, but I'm sure that one share trade is a rollover....
Now have 7th.September appointment to see eye consultant, so like the Q3 production update, I'm one day nearer to an (ocular) resolution.
My older brother cannot tell a short story when there's a long and protracted way of getting it across. Without wishing to appear rude, I'm beginning to realise that Dreamy falls into the same category, people who perform verbose rhetoric, or "Windbags" as they would be more commonly known?
Cheeky old Tungder! Just noticed that if you shuffle Tungder around you get Grunted and if you shuffle Tunder, you get Turned, therefore, he Turned and Grunted, wish sums him up nicely I think, he's just an old fart!!
Good morning all. Bit of a set back on the eye front. Nurse that rang me to go through pre op started to mention eyelid and quick procedure, and on winding her in a bit, it turns out they wanted to remove a cyst that I had already been told couldn't be done due to financial constraints. Whatever clinician reviewed my notes and prioritised a cyst over a dislocated IOL, should be severely censured. I now have to await a review by the retinal surgery team, so could be Xmas for all I know??
Anyway, back at Wres, let's hope for a few blue days and get back to the 0.2's at least?
Dreamy, I might have to change my last post to 102 Amigos.
I also forgot to mention that occasionally, members of this BB have over the years, have aired their toubles and woes like talking to mates down the pub, there is even now and again talk about Wres, but that's a side issue really because some have been here so long, we've nearly forgotten what we started posting on in the first place? We're the 103 Amigo!!
"Posturing" now theres a word I hate! Also forgot to mention the heavy oil in my left eye used after one tear, hospital got out as much as they dared but now when i lie flat and look up, it's like having Aero bar bubbles and when I look down, I'm practically blind as the oil blocks the vision. Do have good consultant surgeon, he just said that all things considered, you can still see, you very nearly lost it on the left.
As for your left eye, it might be a vitreous floater (removing them caused me trouble) or the lens capsule has become cloudy, both common after cataract surgery. Cloudy capsule cured by simple laser procedure. No need to tell you that if concerned, go to eye clinic and get checked. All the best.
