Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
At the current price, the market is surely to some extent factoring in bankruptcy. The Bod really need to pull their fingers out now IMHO.
I noticed that the SP went up 20% after the RNS from riddler's post even though it was of nothing worthy of the rise. The BOD need to show investors that their business plan is working and will generate profits and value for shareholders.
With only 90m shares in issue, the wild swings are evident to see for anyone here from very little volume.
What a shame for PDX, 2 years of trials by P&G come to nothing. This is not good for their technology in this area at all. I was sucked in by the hype and recommendations and managed to make a small profit as the SP was drifting lower. Judging from the drop today, market sentiment is at an all time low here for these now. Don't buy until they have some good news IMO. At this level, they need to start generating profits and quickly.
Funny how HMB has gone up again so suddenly eh? I wonder why that could be Blackrock Inc? BTW, you didn´t get my shares ;o)
I find it hard to believe that that would be allowed if one arm of an investment company can sell their shares to benefit their other as a hedge fund. I would like to know and hopefully you can prove me wrong.
The RNS says to me that BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Limited have shorted this as in section C of the RNS I previously posted. " C: Financial Instruments with similar economic effect to Qualifying Financial Instruments xv, xvi "Type of financial instrument - CFD"
Now that they have made money from shorting, will they now go long and start buying again? Who knows, the companies fundamentals are strong for a long term hold, that is undeniable. The games that these investment companies play are purely to rob PI´s of their cash.
It seems that Blackrock Inc are the heavy sellers causing the SP to drop through BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Limited CFD. I will think twice about buying shares in a company when these turkeys have a significant holding. http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=20120425115800Z4092
He is still there according to the website which now needs updating as the front page still mentions March 2012 as being the date expected to purchase Amkola. Maybe we could mention that too :o) Investor Relations - Hambledon Mining Charles Zorab c.zorab@googlemail.com Telephone: +44 (0) 20 7233 1462
4p, I agree. It would be nice to see more Production Update RNS announcements instead of every 3 months, especially at this early stage from the underground mine. Investors could then regain confidence if they see the increases on a month by month basis.
My average is 2.8p here which is lower than the last 3.25p placing which makes me feel a little better as they now have the cash they need to avoid further diution. I would like to see HMB start to creep up again with expected increased production from the underground mine, at least back to the placing level. Plus, there could be some short to medium term benefit to the SP over possible reduction of the fines and over Akmola Gold. The SP has suffered enough now
An over optimistic CEO talking his company up. Well, there must be a few of those around ;o)
They did mention the fine in the RNS under the" infrastructure" section. BOD still confident appeal will reduce the fines.
Let's hope so. The RNS was good with everything on track to now start ramping up production in Q2 after the severe winter. http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=20120420070000Z3438

Hambledon Mining plc is a gold mining and development group, which is operating the Sekisovskoye gold mine close to Ust Kamenogorsk in East Kazakhstan. The Company has been mining from an open pit and operating an 850,000 tonnes per annum treatment plant since 2008. Underground mining at Sekisovskoye began in late 2011 on time and on budget. From a combined production from the underground and open pit mine of approximately 30,000 ounces in 2012 a figure of approximately 100,000 ounces is targeted from the underground mine alone in 2017. It hopes to complete the purchase of Akmola Gold LLP in March 2012, bringing in to the group two gold deposits with a combined resource of 440,000 ounces gold.
That's up to you. The SP will go up eventually and by a lot if you are prepared to wait a few months.
Rolls Royce was once upon a time 70p too. Good things come to those who wait and believe. :o)
No, I think this is MMs doing their worst here. All time SP low while they are about to start shifting gold big time in the next few months. Always the way I'm afraid to scare PIs out. Kenmare Resources was a typical example. They too had problems with the dam flooding the nearby village and a girl was lost, at that time the SP dropped to 17p....now 50p and target SP of 70p!
