Value of shell co is the cost of listing plus net cash, otherwise the target co would just IPO and save money.
What’s the value of a shell co, £0.5m max ? Plus net cash/ net assets. Compare that to the market cap. The additional value of RTO accrues to existing shareholders of the co reversing in and/or new shareholders when capital raised to fund RTO.
Of course this is a scam, the value of BOU as a shell is around 0.005p and when the RTO doesn’t happen it will go to zero when suspended and then delisted.
Firstly, the “bought” and “sold” figures are often wrong, secondly there is always an opposite transaction, a sell for every buy and vice versa, and lastly you need to have access to level 2 data and the order book to understand price movements!
Autos pushing it up just now but still that 500k sat on the ask at 41p.
Yes today, sometime between 9am to 5pm eastern time = 2pm to 10pm uk time. FDA press release could come before Nadsdaq opens at 2.30pm uk time but presume FDA less concerned about uk stock market timing.
FDA press release could be anytime from 2pm uk time, 9am eastern time, before Nasdaq opens at 9.30am.
FDA announcement could come at 3pm this afternoon , you can sign up for press releases at fda.gov
Try IG, definitely better than Smart Investor. Beware though that moving ISA funds from Barclays was a nightmare, took about 13/14 weeks, totally incompetent.
Tend to agree, topped up at 0.10 last week, but then had a closer look at the interim financial statements and realised the next placing is probably coming sooner than I had anticipated. As ever the trick is judging where's the bottom, suspect it's got a couple of ticks lower to go yet . IMO.
Ctw, let's hope for some good news release, then if it comes soon after the consolidation we'll know what's coming next!
Thinking about a top up too, however presumably a placing to come after the consolidation, maybe the price has dropped in anticipation of that but perhaps another drop to follow on placing news?
Anything over 0.03p would reflect confidence in Adam Reynolds and the newco prospectus outlined today. So ok it might only go down to 0.04p to reflect the Reynolds factor but I am not concerned about tomorrow's price. This was to be expected in the short term, the punt is on what the price will be in a year or two, let's say 0.2p in oldco terms or 50p newco if we can replicate Optibiotix. IMO.
Slug yes I am in here although my smallest investment in my portfolio, just 1m shares as a punt on Adam Reynolds that he can do another Optibiotix! Not sure at this stage whether to take up the open offer, might just let the 1m old or 4000 newco shares ride and see what happens in a year or two.
Sorry you're wrong slug, the comparisons are new 7.5p (ie £0.075 not 0.075p) vs current 0.03p, ie a factor of 250. The RNS no 4814D even states at para 10 that the new share price is a discount of 48% against current share price, hence the potential drop towards 0.03p tomorrow
Not sure il be reading the RNSs later! Presume instructions sent to your own broker nominee so we need to contact them to pass on details to interested shareholders.
Possibly but presumably most people interested in this opportunity would have bought in before today to qualify for the open offer. I know I did rather than wait till after the ex entitlement date has passed. I'm prepared for my existing holding to fall by half initially and then rise over the future months as the newco builds value.
It will probably drop straight to 0.03p, you won't get chance to sell above 0.03p so may as well hang onto them and wait until the new consolidated shares reach 50p, IMO.
Presumably because that's the effective placing price based on preconsolidation number of shares, ie 7,5p /250. So that might happen in short term but doesn't take into account the Reynolds magic factor, eg look what happened with optibiotix!
That 15 million today must have been a buy.
