The investment decision has been put back to March. However shell have confirmed to Delt and the oil and gas authority that they plan to drill next year. Well planning and rig design has commenced. As soon as the drill decision is made I’m sure it will do 100% in a short space of time

Expecting a substantial uplift in the amount of gas in place on this block. Why? P2252 – Pensacola North extension was granted recently and this had 3D from the initial survey. What they have found is the target extends and both shell and Deltic put in for the block in the licensing round

First thoughts of ceo after watching a podcast from September. (1) he talks about 2021 first quarter spud to find a 12 month delay (2) talks about shareholders having a tough ride to then talk about talking to other companies to join up for cash flow....any deals at this level will remove upside at this low sp. (3) it’s pretty clear a big fundraiser is coming to keep directors salaries going (4) come back in 9 months as nothing is going to happen here in terms of share price

In Jan / Feb me thinks and then on a well investment decision by Shell we move to the 3p club. The Pensacola well will receive substantial interest from the industry and will probably be one of the most followed oil and gas plays on aim. Nobody can see it yet but this is what one of the worlds biggest companies brings the table. The drilling success rate in the North Sea is exceptional with Shell.
