204p is quite a jump from 129p. I guess you're talking about Barclays!!!! Although CNA too...perhaps.
Surely the best way to counter negativity is for RTHM to start delivering on their potential.....until they start doing that then people who have a valid reason to moan about RTHM's performance is OK with me. I hate positivity just as much as negativity when the company just isn't performing. It's been a long road with RTHM. Each time we get a new set of results we have to say..."Ok, not this time.....definitely next time". Now we will 'probably' have to give more time for YuMe to 'bed-in'. I'm still fairly positive but I can see why some people would be more negative. You've got to give the guy some credit for devoting so much time to RTHM. He must be a glutton for puniushment.....the next set of results will prove him wrong....maybe!!
"Maybe some institution is looking at convertible bonds, say 30m 3yr bond with 10% coupon and conversion rights at 3p ? That would get them a nice 3m annual income whilst production is ramping up ; first charge over the assets if things turn nasty and 30% shareholding on conversion ... but Assaubayev's having upped their stake from 60->70% would still retain >50% after the dilution. How does that sound as an alternative option ?" =============================================================== RB, If they can get financing (IF) then I reckon it will be as you describe...or very similar. I am hoping that the recent activity has been in preparation for 'the financing' and it is a done deal. Although part of me wishes that they could develop the mine from current gold production.....I know they need the cash to stand any chance of reaching 100K Oz production levels.
"My fear is that we see a capital raising notionally aimed at generating 100mm to clear all debt and provide all necessary funding for future growth. This is done by offering 4 new shares at 1p each for every one share currently held. If all independent shareholders fully subscribe he sells his holding to them / us and walks away with 30mm getting his money back. If nobody buys then he cancels the issuance and pays his own advisory company a couple of million for placing costs and we muddle onwards" ======================================================================= RB, I don't see how any fund raising from existing shareholders would work. We are a tight bunch and most wouldn't throw good money after bad. You think the Assabayeu family want out? But surely all the recent purchases at 3p suggest they think the company is under-valued. Maybe the recent activity is preparation for the funding.....reducing debt levels and boosting the SP. Question is whether there are financiers who would be willing to 'invest' 20m in ALTN and on what terms. Also can ALTN muddle on without this cash injection or is that the end of the road (sell the company for peanuts).
" A bid would surely come in from Russkies if that price were attained in any event." =============================================================== Maybe not the Russians.....I think the bid would struggle with the regulators never mind the MOD.
"Anybody else care to speculate why the share price hasn't responded to hearing that almost 10% of issued capital has changed hands in the past week at 3p ?" ========================================================== RB, could be that people don't trust the reasons behind the recent 'purchases' by the Assabayev family or they don't understand what they are trying to do. The company needs 10-20m in new funding and this may be part of the process in securing that funding. But some of the past decisions seem illogical to me and I don't understand what is now going on. It would be good to get the cash to finish the underground mine and start to deliver on the production fpromises. Until that happens the market may continue to be wary.
"it will be interesting to see if any MMS who don't have any of these are willing to pay more to gather shares......so they can then sell them on at a profit when the time comes." ===================================================================== You're jesting, right? Do they really do that. I've put in an order to buy a million for 3.54 per share.....I'm that confident. Any sellers???!!?? You ask where I have placed my order....Fantasy Island of course!!!
As usual there seems to be some manipulation of the spread which may be affecting the number of Buy's and Sell's. By dropping the 'Bid' price some of the Buy's could actually be Sell's. A crazy way to run a system, where the number Buy's & Sell's can be manipulated so easily. I'm sure I'm imagining things.....it couldn't possibly happen!!!!
PE, thanks for the link. At first glance it would appear that the VSA Capital forecast is 5p but if you look at the chart at the top it seems to have reduced to 3.5p (probably 3.54p) in middle January 2018....so the 5p appears to be an old forecast. Hargreaves Lansdown was showing VSA Capital forecast of 3.54p yesterday....I must check today it might be 3.54 now.
"....... reference to the VSA CAPITAL target of 3.54....." ================================================== This really is a gold mine.....the broker forecasts have gone from 3.54p to 5p and then to 3.54 in a matter of minutes. I'm gonna be a zillionaire. BTW I apologise for my profanities last night.....I was watching 'Deadwood' last night and might have become normalised to the language. I still think it 'odd' that someone posts a broker forecast of a market cap of 292m without any reference. From then on people repeat said figure as if it were gospel.....personally I'm taking the 3.54 figure as correct....market cap of 885 billion then in a matter of weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"VSA is the only broker target I have come across but happy to be proved wrong" ============================================================= So which cHunt extrapolated their target of 3.54p into a market cap of 292m......???? Jesus, you ramping corksuckers are as implicated as a ***** in a bordello.
