This article from 2016 has West African Resources at number 5 in the world with an intercept of 1106 gram metres (16M @ 69.11 g/t)

The intercept from HAD117W6 of 120.4m @ 10g/t giving a 1204 gram metre makes this the number 5 best gold intercept in the world (not withstanding other intercepts since this article was written).

The 5th best gold intercept, in the world, that has been publicly reported, in the history of gold mining. Incredible.

It's got everything to do with the fact Havieron is so big and the had to draw a line in the sand on what data the PFS was drawn up on. They even said the PFS has been done earlier than what would normally be done.

Exactly. It's based on the indicated resource, which is actually less than last year's Inferred MRE as a higher drill density was required.

Don't get caught up in the morons calling it down because they either don't understand or deliberately want it lower for whatever reason.

The whole of 2019 had the same reaction to news when we bobbled around between 1.6-2.2p for almost 12 months.....then what happened.

Rumour or otherwise I'm avoiding getting excited and feeling hype over anything until NCM or GGP make a material announcement on something.

Regardless of who has posted what, their previous form and standing on this BB, I do not know any of them personally and feel it would be foolish to base my own investment journey on hearsay.

Of course I'd love to see whatever is behind this rumour be something of genuine material value to GGP, however id be extremely disappointed to see the SP take off on unconfirmed (by RNS) information only for it to fall flat on it's face should it turn out to be A) not correct or B) of no material value.

Something that excites geologists may not be exciting for the bean counters. I am intrigued but shall not hold my breath over it. I think anyone without a personal relationship with the sources of information would do well to err on the side of caution when it comes to non-official information coming 2nd or 3rd hand.
