Well I've been in email correspondence with them so hopefully the votes will be taken.

700K shares or so across ISA and SIPP

I've been trying to cast my votes for shares held in my Bestinvest ISA and SIPP accounts and received the following correspondence this morning...

"Our custodian have notified us that the cut-off date for nominee holdings to vote was 23/09/22 so we are awaiting confirmation of if the votes have been able to be cast or not."

This doesn't seem right as the GM RNS was on released on 20/9/22 and states proxy votes need to be received by 0930 BST 5/10/22.

Has anyone else has similar correspondence from their broker?

I read in the note Canaccord see the valuation of the 5% previously stated as ~US $230m being based on the 2021 PFS. That means they now value the 5% as much higher than that with GGP MRE2.

Interesting times.

Walkabout. NCM own 70% as per the JV agreement and the fact they have consistently and well ahead of time met their obligations in acquiring that 70%. It's theirs, SD can't go and take it back off them.

Facts and conjecture are becoming more and more blurred on here.

A small amount of research would bring you to this answer:

The "proposed" production facility already exists. It is the Telfer processing plant.

Recent GGP tweets suggest the company is here for the long term and Shaun is putting the ground work in for that.

Make of them what you will.

Would you rather:

A) Get a half ****ed MRE upgrade after 10 months

or

B) Get the full bifter after 14.

Sure I've seen this asked before but:

Do NCM have data logging capabilities whilst drilling similar to what you would find in the oil industry?

Are they able to get a handle on certain geological characteristics in real time to give them an idea of what they are currently drilling through. E.g. similar to conducting a ground magnetic survey but downhole to provide more accurate data.

I'd be surprised if this isn't available since it's something that has been around in O&G for a long time.

Data like that could influence wether you drill further or abandon that hole.

Shaun has got a lot of sh@t off people for the capital raise. It definitely came out the blue to me and initially felt like a shock.

However everything I've heard from SD since puts me at ease with it, the latest Proactive interview in particular.

Comments on use of capital for investment in the drill bit and bank debt, banks not willing to lend 100% hence you need a strong balance sheet.

SD has a strong financial background, in the mining industry to boot and he definitely knows what he is doing far more than the naysayers and people constantly giving him grief. The amount of @ShaunDay hashtags on twitter giving him **** since the raise has been unreal. One Twitter user in particular whinging multiple times daily since.
