When i started becoming interested in investing i used to read the fool site for advice. Having seen the absolute tripe articles they have out out on GGP over the past 18 months im glad i never subscribed to the site for 'advice'.

Just looking at the new diagrams on the greatland website as GH suggested in his interview to appreciate where HAD066 is in relation to previously reported results.

Im absolutely no geologist, so perhaps someone like Magic could comment, but that diagram looks like the horse shoe could end up being an oval. I.e. might the deposit defined in the high grade zone repeat itself around the back.

Is that something that is a usual feature or mineralised deposits that they form in such a way?

Well, after watching that excitement has got the better of me again and ive just had another top up @9.25p, i topped up @4.65p in March and that was vindicated. Im still averaging 2.65p, just wish id bought my whole holding back when i was topping up at 1.7p!

To add to it...again for new investors...

If you look at this BB frequently like me, you will soon learn who is talking sense, who is trash talking and who is talking pie in the sky. That said i still like to get my calculator out and do the numbers when 60p gets mentioned haha, we can all dream.

Not long after i bought in there were people saying we were going sub 1p, we would never break 2p and now here we are and they have disappeared from the board. Ignore them if you can, re read the results, watch GH in his interviews.

Also stay away from ADVFN. I found that board before this one and wondered what i had bought in to. Its like they are all on acid or something.

GGP is my first ever real investment. I found out about it in early January 2019 and bought in on the January spike at around 2.2p, shortly after we were down in the 1.8-1.9 range and over time we even slumped to the 1.4's.

I listened to all the great information coming from poster here, eagerly awaited news releases and felt disappointment every time we released excellent results and the SP was like a limp lettuce.

Luckily i was able to distance myself emotionally from the numbers on the screen as i had bought in to GGP on the story and every new set of results (regardless of the disappointing SP moves) made that story more and more convincing. I decided i was more convinced than ever GGP over time would stump up the goods and by December 2019 i had made a few more top ups to lower my average to 1.97p. I have had one more top up last month at 4.65p and haven't worked out my new average. I only have a small holding of 380K shares, and i wish i had more to put in but unfortunately i dont and with the COVID nonsense im keeping my other bit of cash on hand should i lose my job.

After 16 months in GGP, 12 months of which i was sitting on between a 10-25% loss due to my initial buy in i am now sat on 300% profit even with my 4.65p top up.

So for all of you who have recently invested, i understand the nerves and the disappointment should you have bought in when we were seemingly cruising to 10p but....if you bought in based on the GGP story and not for an overnight get rich quick scheme, then tuck those shares away. As was shown last night and countless results set before, even said by the man GH himself...."the market doesn't understand what we have here".

The market is slowly waking up to us as has shown from the rise since January but i think rhey are like me when i wake up, their eyes are open but have no idea what time it is or where they are.

Oil clearly isnt dead. The current over supply glut is the product of the coronavirus pandemic and the Saudi-Russia price war coinciding. Right when the world oil demand slumped due to the pandemic the Russians and Saudis started upping their output.

Are you telling me that all the fuel required for aviation, shipping, haulage, commuting, leisure driving, manufacturing petrochemicals, plastics, pharma products, road tar...i could go on but you get the point...aren't going to be needed?

Even when the world gets to a stage where renewable sources of energy, EV's are the primary modes of transport what do you think all the products in your every day life are going to be constructed of, wind and electrons?

In the future oil demand will obviously be less than it is at present, its a fact that over the next number of decades a greater reliance on renewable will become the norm. However a world in which oil doesn't exist means a world in which nearly all of the clothes you're wearing, and all of the material products you own no longer exist. Unless we start constructing everything out of wood and metal, oil will always be required.

I agree. Everything felt quite normal whilst i was offshore. Its only since ive been home and seen chaos in the shops that the reality has sunk in. I think id rather be offshore, not something i thought id ever hear myself saying.

Greatland activities wont stop unless its absolutely necessary. I work in a fifo type job, offshore in the north sea. We have down manned to essential production staff only. We remain in full production unless an outbreak occurs on the platform at which point they will reduce production or shut down depending on severity.

I would imagine the exact same will be true at telfer, hav etc. So long as the are able to avoid an outbreak at the drill site/camp then it will continue to be full steam ahead.

RTC. I don't think you have an understanding of the survey here or the analytical methods being used to detect the presence of certain elements.

If the upper limit of detection is 2000ppb then the surveying technique being employed generally would yield results >2000ppb or the method of detection wouldn't be useful. Given they are surface samples and not drill cuttings being sampled you wouldn't expect results in the same orders of magnitude as rock chip samples. I e. g/t.

The presence of surface mineralisation is indicative of whats potentially deposited at depth. If high grades of gold literally sat on top of the ground it would make gold mining incredibly easy. The reality is, you have to go to depth, whether that be open pit 'surface' or deep block cave style. You don't get your dustpan and brush out and sweep it off the floor.

They said this about oil reserves many years ago. However new discoveries are still being made in areas that were 'played out' like the North Sea continental shelf. As technology advances new discoveries are still being made, previously uneconomical reserves become viable and currently produced reserves gain better recovery rates.

How well this translates to the mining sector i don't know but i imagine improved technology, higher recovery efficiency etc. will mean that people claiming peak gold will be proved wrong, as the Peak Oil theory proposed in 1956 has also not played out.

Tomorrow the share price will go up, do a barrel roll, loop the loop, hover for a while, do a figure of 8, plummet then spin around on its end before finally coming to rest 0.01p above the current close.
