Long, Ithaca was my first Oil & Gas Purchase! People were telling me i was crazy to invest at such times of low oil prices. I made a few quid but felt robbed at Deleks offer. Unfortunately the CEO - Les Thomas - sold his share holding about 3 months prior to the market offer in January 2017. I believe some ex ithaca board members are now involved with I3E.

Anyway, good things come to this who wait, and with RRE i’m prepared to hang around a while yet!

Almost forget. The previous directors have Faroe Petroleum have set up a new company with a similar ethos of RRE. Longboat Energy. LBE. Check them out!!!!

Maverick, couldn’t agree more! I held Ithaca and felt robbed with Deleks offer of $1.95 share offer. I initially bought into ithaca at 19.54p, January 2016 during the previous downturn. My overall average meant i trebled my overall investment in the end. The sharks may be circling RRE but let’s not forgot AA is a shrewd businessman and there’s no way he’s letting this company go for next to nothing.

I’d be amazed if we haven’t had a further acquisition in Q2. It’s goin to be a rocky 6 months but without doubt RRE is the shining start in the oil & gas constellation.

Spirit Energy have just announced that they are not paying out last years bonus, no pay rise this year, redundancies and closing the office in Norway. Contractors will be asked to cut costs by 15%.

We’re RRE previously linked with a takeover of Spirt Energy's assets in the UK continental shelf....
