London — The UK's Centrica said July 24 it would resume the process of selling its stake in upstream business Spirit Energy once commodity and financial markets are calmer.

Centrica had hoped to complete the sale of its 69% interest in Spirit by the end of 2020, but put the process on pause due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Could Spirit Energy be the number 2 transaction when the II's can join the party?

Spirit was linked with RRE previously which AA was quite open about on an interview last year.

Spirt certainly fits the bill with offshore producing assets in the Irish Sea and the onshore terminal in the north-west.

Do you believe that the RRE T/O was a formality 6 months prior to the RNS announcement?
The initial indication was the RNS landing then on 2nd June 'Articles Of Association Uploaded To NSM' RNS was issued.

Anybody thought about buying Kistos instead of flogging this dead duck? I told you all to buy RRE in April but i was called out.

Most of you on this BB have been here for years whilst the SP has tanked and no divi has been paid. Glad i sold Septmeber 2018 at a small profit.

There's without doubt a lot of money gone from LBE into KIST since Wednesday's IPO as investors have got twitchy feet s the board are dragging their heels ( through not fault of their own). Investors will likely feel greater returns are due over at KIST which i ultimately agree with.

That's not to say money wont be made over here. I'm happy to keep my initial investment in LBE as the first deal cant be to far away as Davie007 keeps promising us - we are 12 months since IPO!!! My profits will undoubtedly go into KIST though as AA has a proven track record in delivering significant shareholder value.

Glad to be a holder in both! Although I've gone excessive in KIST this week...............time will tell whether that will become aa naïve or astute decision.

While investors here continue to hemorrhage cash SS take his excessive salary.

Andrew Austin at Kistos will move fast so it’s a case of jumping onboard quick as he won’t be hanging around long before his first deal!!
